Those 1995 Thomas rear engine buses were shown as well. South Carolina was getting rid of them during the making of this video due to fires breaking out on them as I mentioned before. They have been taken off of their streets since. There were special needs variants in this video as well as normal variants. Also, that C2 in front of you looks a lot like what your home state of North Carolina has.
Cdcruizer05, my family and I really need you to call your yellow and black Thomas C2's a busy bus, but I really love the one that has 10 large windows and it should be used as an Elementary bus and your other one has to have hydraulic brakes, double air-operated stop sign, and become a 71-pax. They also need overhead luggage racks with heat/A/C controls and the power sunshades, but the 11 large window busy bus has to have 4 TVs and an AM/FM touchscreen that doubles as a back-up camera, CD player, and a DVD player and it also has to have a SD card on it, too. You should make those for ALL of your Thomas school-buses because I love buses with overhead luggage racks!
Hey! A 2017 C2 just replaced my route's bus. The old one was a 2007 C2 (508-0934) and now we have 508-2826. I love the new C2's so much, but it's going to be a little sad seeing the old ER's taken off of the road.
Yeah, they sure had their share of them. SC is known for the oldest fleet in the country. I spotted several 85-90 Chevy Chassis. Glad they're finally replacing their outdated fleet.
cdcruizer05 yeah but you gotta love the old buses man. That'd be cool if you could do a video on how buses have changed over the past 20-30 years. find an old diesel pusher and put a new HDX next to it
Whoops, went back to look and they both have the reinforced bumper. Anyway, the way you can tell is by looking through that big front hole in the bumper between where the tow hooks are. The reinforced ones have a bunch of these triangular braces inside, if you pause at 3:28 you can sort of see them at an angle. While the non reinforced ones you can see straight though to the radiator, and don't have those braces. A good example of a bus you filmed that does not have the reinforced bumper is the 2015 Thomas C2 - Acheson #2 videos
Tbh I don't think its right because I hate the grey rims.. But yeah.. We do need some new buses... Buut I was never expecting something like that... I thought they at least would've designed it like the 07, but this one has yellow window bordering
Do you think they're gonna retire the Transits anytime soon since we're getting new buses. I've only got a year left until I can drive for my district and it has been my dream since a kid to drive one lol. :)

The North Carolina looking one has the reinforced front bumper while the newer one doesn't. Guessing they had to make the bid cheaper.
crazyjdkid I didn't notice, how can you tell?
