Those beach hut spaces have been empty for some time now. They built some new ones for sale a little further south of here. Presumably that was the plan for these spaces too, but it hadn't happened at least by last September
They dont relize that their destroying beaches by doing this, weres the lilttle rock pools and looking under rocks n stones for crabs. Thats i remember this n skegness. Im 35 now.
Did the sand stay? Van Oord pumped 1000s of tons ashore at Bacton and Walcott in Norfolk took public funds and promised the beach would stay.... all gone in less than 3 years. I hope the council won't believe them again!
They normally pour a few thousand cubic metres on the beach every year or two. Talk of them putting rock armour groins in sometime. Been surveying this week and taking deep samples with a core borer. We will see?
