    So happy to find your recipe! Even my husband, who isn't gluten free, loved them!

    I'm new to KETO and looking for good recipes. This one is awsome. I used butter and no seasonings to test it out. OMG wonderful!! I smeared it with more butter and a tbs of Almond Butter for lunch today. Just exactly what I was looking for! Definately subscribing...thanks Max.

    I have made this bread several times now and even purchased the silicone mold that it used here. The hubs is gluten intolerant and I am on KETO. Before this bread...I felt like I was in a cage that was shrinking and this has set us free. I absolutely love it and make it every few days adding something different or ethnic changes it up. Try it.

      please HELP I want to love them too. I have made them twice and they are wet and eggie. Can you tell me your ratios measurements?

    • @lamoon1525
      @lamoon1525 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      we've made these according to the measurements given (but with butter not lard) ... one thing to note is to use a food scale...that may be where these are going wrong. Also, it sounds like you're not getting them baked all the way through. Check your oven temperature with a thermometer and give these a complete bake. If they're not a little "spongy" they're not done baking. For a muffin tin ... we've gone as far as a 20min bake. For the silicone bun baker...slightly less. We are at a higher altitude as well, which can affect baked goods. If that is your case too...add about a tablespoon more almond flour. We've also found that toasting them in a toaster or under the broiler for a couple minutes is amazing.

    • @midnjerry1
      @midnjerry1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      LynAnne Moon yes I will have to get a scale I guess. Converting it just is not working. I have the same molds he has. I will try again:(

    • @lamoon1525
      @lamoon1525 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I honestly believe if you measure with a food scale you'll improve your results (not just with this, but with most flour based recipes. A measuring cup will not do the job). Be sure to get an oven thermometer and check your oven heat. You'd be surprised how often this can go wrong.

    • @Tmanaz480
      @Tmanaz480 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You will not regret getting a digital food scale. You'll appreciate not having all those measuring cups and spoons to clean up.

    Definitely the best hamburger 🍔 buns EVER!! I make my own version of the Big Mac using these buns. I add sesame seeds to make it authentic. In Australia Coles sell the 'Special Burger Sauce ' which taste exactly like the McDonalds sauce. It's great having all the options, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything being on this Keto diet.

    Seriously people that are so blinking critical and negative. Try the recipe or not, but look at it for what it is and stop being a internet troll. It is a substitute for people who eat Paleo/Keto/LoCarb.
    Try removing some of the yolk and adding in flax seed. That will reduce the eggy taste, help the ingredients bind and still give you the volume and bulk.

    For those worried about the cost of almond flour try blitzing almonds in a food processor into a coarse powder. I leave the skins on which technically makes it almond meal but it's usually cheaper than blanched (skin off). Works out to less than half the price. Follow the recipe but add slightly more flour as the home made isn't as compact/fine as store bought. I also add a couple tbsp of ground flax seed to increase the fibre.

    Thank you for such a simple bun recipe. I didn't have the 4" molds, so I just spread the batter in a 7X11 pan and baked it for 20 minutes. It came out perfect! A bit egg tasting, but that doesn't bother me. Next time I'll add some seasoning. I sprinkled sesame seeds on top. It looks like a yellow cake. Thanks again.

    • @danm2144
      @danm2144 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try adding a little more baking time to lessen the egg taste. You can add some herbs and spices as well (rosemary works well). If you lookup low carb buns on YT you'll find recipes than use fewer eggs.

    Hello, I don't know if I am doing something wrong? I watched your video. And went to the website link for the directions as well. Nevertheless I am still coming up short.
    Just to let you know that I am using the USA burger /bun pan I purchased from Amazon. It has the same shape and depth of the mold you are using. I do not want to use silicone mold for health reasons. And since I am a vegan. I am using Follow Your Heart Eggs for a egg replacement..
    The issues I am having is that without adding a lot of water My molds can't feel up. I can only get 3 out of 6 filled up. And that is because I had to add water for the Follow Your Heart Eggs Powder Replacement. And I saw it still would not be enough to fill the molds. So I added a little more. And did not want to overdue it.
    And like I said it only came out to 3 molds.
    I also used Vegan butter, Pink Himalaya Salt. And some Monkfruit sugar powder. Only a little bit of the salt and sugar.
    When they finshed baking for 20 minutes. They were to soft and fell apart. I let them cool down for 20 minutes. I put them in the freezer for 5 minutes. And I even tried to put them in the Philips Air fryer to make them toasty. Still soft. So they just fell apart.
    They tasted good still. For some reason they tasted like lobster cakes. I don't know why 😂
    So can you tell Me why my yield is not enough for the mold? And why they are to soft like a pancake consistency but softer than that?

    Hi, I love your recipes, also your pans, can you tell me where you got them? I use coconut flour at times, I don't taste a coconut flavor from the flour, I thought too it would have a coconut flavor. Have you ever used coconut flour? I love the flavor of coconuts, but not in all things like savory dishes, it really doesn't it has a type of nutty flavor that goes well with onions or garlic, savory foods, but I find it to be on the dry side, or things come out eggy, because of the large amount of eggs that have to be used. I bought a lot of bags of both coconut and almond flour, so I wanna find bread recipes with the coconut flour, I really think they should be mixed for the best results. I made the best butter cookies, using mostly almond flour and some coconut flour. Thanks, don't forget to tell me about your cute pans, I would really appreciate it. Happy Holidays, take care.

      You would need to use about 1/3 of the amount of flour and add more eggs.

    This recipe has doble the amount of eggs it truly needs when i first made it, came out tasting like omelets. Finally keep fixing it, until it came out perfect: I made it with 8 oz of flour and 3 eggs 1 cup of melted butter and garlic powder and parsley... that's all you need

    I've tried this recipe but it tastes too much like eggs. Any tips to improve it? I used 1 1/2 cups of homemade almond flour, butter and 6 large eggs.
