Very well said. Seeing and experiencing all the changes on our climate nowadays. Stronger typhoons, unpredictable weather and the length of light and darkness. Those are only examples of the changes that we're currently experiencing due to our irresponsibility. People used of having the machines do all the work. Wherever you go, everyone is already using technologies in their everyday living which greatly affected our lives, especially those on the near future. More technologies, the more and even worst calamities they'll be having. So for those who're not yet aware of the disadvantages that we'll be having, I do suggest you all watch this blog for it can help us very much!

However, I would suggest to you to give some more data....it's tough to realise the real size of the problem without crunching any numbers, I think...
Population growth is NOT exponential and hasn't been for years! AND, population growth is NOT the problem. The problem is rampant consumerism: the unstoppable appetite of wealthy nations for energy and "stuff". One person in North America consumes as much as 50 to 100 people in countries like Bangladesh.

What if we just maximized agriculture? I don't think most countries in the world maximize their land for agriculture. I would suggest that we plant more supply locally. Instead of getting exports, which is better for the short term but not for the long run. Can't we do that?

This is not science or scientific [necessarily]. This is general theories, some of which have scientific basis in fact. He speaks of the fact that population growth and human reproduction is exponential. But so is human death, disease, accidents, homicide, and other factors. He says that by 2050 the world's population will be 9 Billion people. But 9 Billion people could easily fit in the United States and still utilize less than 15% of the total land area. Roughly 1% of the world's land is inhabited by humans presently. The so-called Malthusian Limit is also a theory, -a theory with no (or little) basis in scientific fact. It's interesting that Malthus, the order he arose from (precepts/ ideology of nobility and aristocrats), and his writings, came just after the American Revolution. That may be just a coincidence, or it may not be. There is no doubt that biodiversity is important, that species do go extinct, or are threatened. There is no doubt that we are using more land, more resources, and that pollution, and environmental degradation are definite problems (among others). But he also fails to take into account, that just as humans adapted to invent technologies for greater food production, plants and animals can also adapt to these changes; And have throughout history. That doesn't mean they are never affected by human activities, but simply that they are dynamic and constantly evolving along with humans. He gave many examples of how species, ecologies, and environments, are impacted by human activity. I think one of the most visible ones is the mystery of so-called colony collapse disorder in Honeybees. I don't believe they know the exact cause of it, but a predominate theory which I subscribe to, is that the continual bombardment of high frequency wireless microwave electromagnetic radiation in the atmosphere affects all living things negatively. Yet you will never hear the financial elite and their Agenda 21/ICLEI cohorts complain about that. Because their goal is to utilize such technologies to control and surveil us all as they force us into highly urbanized compacted zones. As for the destruction of forests, there is a renewable, sustainable answer which is the answer to most of our problems: Hemp. Massive industrial scale hemp farming/agriculture. I simply want people to understand that buzzwords like sustainability, biodiversity, and others have dual usages. And that these terms will be used both legitimately and illegitimately to promulgate the concept that we must give up our private property, liberty, freedom, and rights, to save the planet in the name of sustainability, sustainable living, biodiversity, and other feel-good buzzwords, while allowing Communist central planing and New World Order Totalitarian Collectivist Government to dictate the way we live.
Humans may only occupy 1% of the total land area, but 57% is inhabitable and Americans specifically use more than 10 times the sustainable amount of resources. Hopefully the New World Order Totalitarian Collectivist Government sends you to live in Antarctica since there is an abundance of resources that they don't want you using.
Hello friend, education is means of realization and understanding not means of pointing out( information correct or not or how much correct it is). only the things which should be adapted is take some steps like plantation, veg-meals, population control on personal level. Other things will be done automatically. You don't have to worry about it. You have sharp brain use it in straight resulting path rather than in diverting path(which took you at origin after went through whole video). I hope you will understand.
