Good afternoon kids! Can you imagine being a Todd fan and being allowed to hang with Todd for a whole week! Could this be true? Well it is and happened two years ago. I and 400 other fans got to celebrate Todd’s 75 birthday. We all had a fabulous time together and with Todd’s family. PS: I decided to camp out and guess whose yard I was camping on? I and a few others got to camp in Todd’s backyard! Jealous 😂. Hey I know you are fans of Todd by now and maybe for Todd’s 80 birthday we will all meet in Kauai again. Love you both and love your emotions about Todd’s music. I got to interview Hall & Oates back in my college days 😊
Todd and Daryl are both from Philadelphia and have each other forever. Todd can do anything in music - write songs, sing, play many instruments, produce for many others.
Todd Rundgren played the motorcyle guitar solo in Meat Loaf's song "Bat out of Hell" and also produced the album. Him and Daryl performed "Every time you go away" (a song by Hall&Oates, but made famous by Paul Young) which is also a banger.
War Babies is an actual rock album from H&O almost proggy in spots. Todd is actually from Upper Darby and Daryl is from Pottstown and is the most famous graduate of our high school.
This was a great show, on MTV or VH1 I believe. “Live at Daryl’s House”. Daryl Hall, of Hall & Oates, would have his studio band and each episode he would have musical guests play with him. Really cool pairings of artists. Please do some more of Live at Daryl’s House videos! 😁👍
More Todd Rundgren, please! Another of his better-known songs is "Hello It's Me" but there are plenty of others to choose from. Todd's talent as songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer reminds me of Sufjan Stevens, another similarly gifted musician. Any track from his 2005 album "Illinoise" would be a good start...
Please check out Daryl's House. He invites all kinds of artists to his home and property and performs the songs each artist is known for. It is quality and variety at its best!
As I told you before Todd was the only one that would produce Meatloafs first album Bat out of hell no one else thought the record would go anywhere. Todd likes to say "with that album I was able to my house in Hawaii" That house.
Daryl had concerts at his house during Co-vid. Great shows. ☮🤎🎶

This was filmed at Todd’s house in Hawaii. There are several songs that were recorded and I would recommend.
The flowers necklace is called a lei, pronounced “lay”
From a little old lady in Hawaii.🌴

Hi guys hall and Oates “war babies” is a fantastic album…. Try “is it a star” and “you’re much too soon” 😊 thanks
Of course there were a couple episodes where Daryl Hall visited others House studios, like this o e at Todd’s place.
Hal Ketchum does a great version of this song 🎶🎵💚
