I used to deal blackjack and a regular of mine who was one of the few to do well at my table told me his 4 rules of money management that he never broke and it was how he made 6 figures playing blackjack 5 days a week. They were: Know how much you plan to win, how much you plan to lose, how long you're going to be there and never ever play for yesterday. On the first 3, if you hit anyone of those limits leave immediately or finish a hand and leave. The last one he said was hardest but throwing good money after bad just puts you in a deeper hole. He said once he figured that out, he found he won more and more consistently. He did keep track but like a QB that throws a pick six that play is over and move on.

That was the most exciting 90 minutes on TH-cam! I thought playing $30 per hand on video poker was crazy but this was insane.

I used to deal blackjack and a regular of mine who was one of the few to do well at my table told me his 4 rules of money management that he never broke and it was how he made 6 figures playing blackjack 5 days a week.
They were: Know how much you plan to win, how much you plan to lose, how long you're going to be there and never ever play for yesterday.
On the first 3, if you hit anyone of those limits leave immediately or finish a hand and leave.
The last one he said was hardest but throwing good money after bad just puts you in a deeper hole.
He said once he figured that out, he found he won more and more consistently.
He did keep track but like a QB that throws a pick six that play is over and move on.
