  • Tobita Shinchi is a red-light district located near Sanno 3-chome in Nishinari Ward, Osaka City.
It is famous as "Japan's largest red-light district" built during the Taisho era.
Tobita Shinchi was originally created when Namba Shinchi burned down in a fire in 1910 and was relocated to Nishinari Sanno in 1916.
Also, when you think of red-light districts, many people may think of Edo's Yoshiwara first.
The largest existing red-light district, including the number of stores, is Tobita Shinchi.
Actually, it seems that photography is not allowed in this place, but even though I was scolded by the shop lady,
    I've been taking pictures.
