I think his guilty verdict only makes his chances as president strong! Everyone I know and talk to are voting for Trump in Nov. Many democrats are now voting for him bc these see how Obiden is weaponizing our judicial system against us all!
I came home from work to find my house being burgled. I ran outside and phoned 999 who advised me to get out the house and wait for the police to arrive. I then phoned the company my husband worked for which was 8 miles away, got through to the switchboard who relayed a message via his manager. I phoned my sister who lived not far away. My husband, sister and brother-in-law and my nephew all managed to get to the house and the police arrived half an hour later. They then asked why they didn't take my jewellery box. I was that shaken at the time I had no answer. Afterwards I wondered if they were implying I smashed through my own window, threw stuff around and moved stuff out of the house myself and was really angry. If they had of turned up when I phoned they could have caught them.
I sat through a hearing not long ago when a police officer was witness. Overweight (grossly overweight!, Slovenly appearance and uniform bulging at the seams) where she stated shamelessly that looking at Facebook made up most of her work hours!. Well, the result of that was obvious to everyone in the court room, I'm sure.
I worked as a cleaner in a hospital during my holidays. Only 2 years of holidays as the next 3 years of medical school we hardly had any holidays. I earned a good wage as a cleaner and it was a much better job than being a doctor. For God’s sake stop thinking that people are like cars that can be fixed. Do you really think that we as doctors are deliberately being negligent. Try it ! It is a Godawful life. You are having fun on this programme. Absolutely no fun in medicine. I would never do it with the options available to women nowadays. Medicine is an absolutely horrible life.
@@SomiaMeeta I expect that Katryna, like myself, is getting on in years and has much less time to live than she has already had. I work with a person who's humidi-crib was turned off in 1971 by a hospital cleaner, in order for them to use the vacuum, and they never plugged it back in. I so enjoy ‘Plank of the Week’ - but the scary thing is I’m in NZ and we experience so much of the same ridiculousness e.g. Junior Drs striking yet again, Police ignoring smaller crimes, woke nonsense. The world is going to hell in a hand-cart.

I am student nurse and when I applied to nursing school , I knew I would be working 12 hr shifts , during the night and on the weekend, why didn't the doctors know that? We all get a higher rate for working unsociable hours too. I will say that when these shifts were changed to 12hrs many years back , the skills, the expectation and the numbers of patients were very different. I have been shocked at just how much the nurses do, essentially they do everything and even diagnose and just tell the doctors what prescriptions to write and the dose etc. This is a difficult job, its disheartening working your hardest and still having a que of patients waiting. Only people who under stand you will sacrifice a lot to do this job, should be doing it.
Yes I thought that also, and after working from the age of 17years, why in my older years should I clean up after people who cannot put rubbish in a bin… too many people that the police on the streets could hold to count…
about kids anxiety ...I live on a path where parents walk their kids to school...a woman walks past my house 4 times a day....and EVERY time shes always on her phone or looking at it with her kid walking a few yards behind...never talking with her kid...
When I was in hospital years ago the night nurses sent out for take aways while on duty…. Very professional I must say…Definitely not what Florance Nightinggale would have approved of…
I was born in Paddington in January 1946, No fruit, sweets or cakes. No radios, TV, computers or mobile phones. Almost everything was rationed. Just up the street was a bombed house. England was broke but it was OK because we did not have a lot of overpaid do-gooders telling us how bad off we were.

Most Anglican churches are in large plots of land containing the graves of parishioners. I don’t think these can be disturbed for a lot of years so building is not an option so how much revenue could be raised?
At 21:30 Our precious NHS junior mukoos (doctors) are on strike AGAIN. And showing their priorities and preconceptions. ‘Do no harm’ oath clearly disapplied. Sack them. Plenty of good doctors willing to come here.
I have to add a late comment to endorse what Isabelle said about TFL. I arrived back in the UK after 28 years away last Sunday. Exhausted we dragged our bags into the underground at Heathrow to be met with a barrage of orders at decibel levels that would put Led Zeppelin to shame. Her grating over zealous voice blasted out at all the passengers huddling for shelter as if in The Blitz. Nothing was too condescending for this employee. One assumes under instruction from TFL (what became of London Transport?). Long-haul aircraft should issue warnings to unaware victims arriving at Heathrow.
I heard a Imam on the steps of St Pauls professing "Islam will take over. Get used to it." The only good thing I could think about that was "....at least they would sort out these trans in double quick time. That will teach them to march for Gaza"
5 million is NOTHING for that initiative! Mental health is a very real issue! I love Plank Of The Week - Funny, infuriating, but always entertaining. I do have to take issue with Mike dismissing anxiety though. Yes, it is a trendy industry and many people are taking the piss, but it can be a serious psychiatric problem. I've had generalised anxiety disorder for most of my life, I'm nearly 63. It has affected my schooling, relationships, employment and contributed to bouts of alcoholism. I'm heavily medicated and will be for the rest of my life. I was pensioned off in my late 30s. Therefore I found these comments on POTW quite insulting.
Why are we paying for police when we can get together and pay for private security? Then we wont have to worry about being thrown in a cell over mean words on social media, you won't feel like you can't speak freely anymore, we will have true freedom AND security that works... What do the police actually offer us? Anyone feel safe when they are around? I live somewhere where we don't see them often and it is wonderful, when I do see them there is an instant feeling of dread and I'm not a criminal, I just don't think the way I am instructed and that means I could be targeted at any time by a predatory police force that is woke and heavily politicised.. What is the point in them?
Yeah. Our police force. Very authoritative during covid using bully boy tactics but when it comes to crime ( and sitting on a park bench isn't one of them) they don't want to know. When did you last see one on the beat? Ha! Total joke in every respect.
You lovely lot have missed the point about the instructions in public spaces... I would put money on it being more about covering their backs on being sued than for helping out/ prevention. The response would be that there is a verbal warning for... holding on to the escalator rail, so your client is therefore responsible for not doing so... check it out.
