Man his game is entertaining asf. How many steps he takes on step backs is questionable but y’all understand the level of difficulty it is with these shots. He is going to go down as a legend
That two handed layup finish is very, very effective, especially one on one. The "off" arm acts like a shield against defender's arms and makes it hard for them to block or even contest the shot without fouling.
Ppl think its a travel but he holds the ball when he is only about to do a step not hold the ball while going in for a step. That's how amazing his euro step is.
What I like about harden other than his skills is how he always wait for the defender reach or make a small space against him is he will take it and his not afraid of you to challenge his shots no matter how tall you are
Haters can’t appreciate greatness....it takes tremendous degree of skill and talent to be dominant on isolation CONSISTENTLY regardless of what you think of the trivial “travel” and “flop”...he manipulates defense and keeps the refs on their toes at all times....HE IS THAT CRAFTY, THAT SKILLFUL, THAT QUICK, THAT STRONG, THAT INTELLIGENT, THAT DANGEROUS, AND THAT LEGITIMATE!!!!! PUT SOME RESPECT ON HIS NAME!!!!!
Yes he's so great on 1vs1. I'm a fan of him but I don't think he's the king of 1 on 1. Kobe Bryant is the king of 1 on 1. The King of isolation. #RespectToHarden
He dribbled but the defender covers it so it looks like he took 4 steps, when he actually took another dribble I think that’s why, but it’s not a travel
Watch the second angle. He dribbles, steps left, THEN grabs the ball, and finishes with a layup. Admittedly, he has traveled before. But A LOT of his euros are like that where he doesn’t actually establish a picked up dribble until after that first foot plants.
@@Afrotwistbraids Lol. The gather step was when he put his left foot down with his last dribble. Then he took three steps after that last dribble. Slow it down to x.25 Travel. Final answer.
@@southali Except youre wrong lmao. A gather step is the foot thats on the ground when you GATHER the ball. Thats the problem with you people that dont know the rules. The rule has NOTHING to do with "after the last dribble". It has to do with when you gather the ball. His gather step was his left foot because thats the foot that was on the ground when he gathered the ball and put both hands on it. After he gathers the ball he takes 2 steps, right-left. THATS the rule. You are allowed 2 steps after gathering the ball, not 2 steps after your final dribble.
When he gathered his right foot was pivot, then he lifted his right foot and dropped it again in that euro step move, that’s obviously travel period.. ppl who think that is legit don’t know sh*t about b-ball fundamentals.. I don’t blame them entirely tho because today’s NBA is all about entertainment.. they think if NBA players are doing it, it must be legit.. just like the double step back bs

right I love watching isolations
This part of his game is entertaining.
The other 13 free throws are not.

Iso and Foul king...but that dribble + stepback combo will never be matched!

His size ups were so fast they were like instinct, and his burst after the movie was just as quick.

I would never in a million years be able to guard this man
His change of speed mid crossover is so hard to time he goes from slow to very fast.
amazing change of pace
Cant wait to find out Harden is really a cybernetic ball player from the future. Only way to explain his prowess.

The trick is that he attacks the front foot. He then beats the second defender using a euro. Imma try this. Thanks 🙏✌️
Like LeBron said a ring doesn't define a person careers So
Rain on Goat James Harden
Facts!!! Plenty of Hall of Famers that don’t have a ring and vice versa plenty of players with rings that aren’t Hall of Famers.
But if you have multiple of rings and multiple of individual achievements...then your the goat..and thats mj my man..
9:03 got tf outta lillard

I miss this version of Harden, now in Sixers, he can do nothing like this.
Beard the fear.

Looking back at these, it seems that hamstring injury really slowed him down.
Do a Kyrie iso king
Imagine kyrie harden and kd on the same team

With these kind of skill sets,i cant see why he needs to flop so badly...

Better ball handler than Curry 🗣
Tyji Brown so nigga
Don't get to ahead of yourself
Not sure though but hes a better slasher though.
Yes he is, he has more dribble combo than curry
Dimas Aryo he is not a better dribbler than curry bro combos don't matter it's what you do with it

How many times did he shit on lillard 😂😩😩
only saw him a couple times drive and put the ball in on the right side of the rim, ain't starting a debate though

would be fun seeing two styles go at it. Post up vs dribble iso.

Triple dub step.
Gather then 2 steps
He does the same between the leg dribbles and dramatically flops everytime
Gotta do a 17-18’ Giannis vid bro
Do Kobe
Iso Joe Johnson join the group.
if he's team mate would move around or rotate while he was dribbling thats deadly. "see the reaction of his teamate just watching him
