Yall definitely missing out with got7,theyre still pretty much together and not disbanded..they just individually sign to different agencies but their agencies are supported about got7 still being together..they just be focusing on individual project for now and what you see is jaybs color..they have individual colors and style. Jayb like jay park was in JYPE and the leader. Jayb got recruited for JYPE at break dance competition and then trained and made it into GOT7. Y’all should really dive more deeper into both GOT7 and Jay Park.
You need to check out his whole album! It’s a whole vibe. JayB has even written a lot of songs for GOT7 (some favs: Page, Thursday, Prove It, and Come On). He even has some mixtapes out under the name DEF
not disbanded, everyone still in got7. all members are just doing their own music/activities right now. i hope i see more reactions from you guys…please listen to his full album :)

Lim Jae-beom has different names depending on where he's working. As Got7, he had to use the name JB. Under H1gher Music, he uses Jay B. Under the name Def/Defsoul, is where he has no agenda and makes the music HE wants to make.
To find the real Lim Jae-beom, you have to listen to his songs written under Def and with Offshore.
The heavy influence of R&B, Funk and Soul can't be mistaken.

Yeah, I grew up in Ohio. Home of the Ohio Players, Zapp, Bone/Thugs and Dayton. Music has been a huge part of my life and I'm telling you, Jay B has it.
To clarify Jayb has said that the spelling of Jayb will also be officially the spelling of his name in GOT7 and that there is no difference between Jayb of H1gher and Jayb of GOT7
It’s his solo project indeed they all worked on solo stuff during 2021 but they’re still a group and planing to release music as a group again.
Jayb is on H1GHR music and Yugyeom on AOMG which are both Jay Park’s label.
As for the song Cha Cha Malone ( the producer) actually said he actually made it originally for jay park as he is preparing a full rnb album, but JayB heard it and fell in love with the song so he asked Jay and ofc jay agreed as it would be a powerful first solo single. Jayb loves jay park’s music and asked him to feature on it and then they proceeded to write the lyrics.
Jayb also performed it on shows and wanted Jay ( who was on a lil break from music) to perform with him and he agreed the performances are honesly soooo good and they did some break dance at the end of it ! There’s also a dance practice which is really dope to react to, too

There are behind the scenes videos for this MV. The album is amazing. He also is being the DJ on Wed night on Station Z and he is so awesome. You can really get to know him watching him on that. There is alot of content about him right now. Also watch him with Eric Nam on Dive Podcast too on YT. Jay B is so talented on all levels. Watch listen and learn. He is a force to be reckoned with

All got7 members are focusing on solo stuffs right now. All of them signed to different agencies. And got7 is not under jyp now its under warner music international.
JUNNY and his song THANK YOU is an amazing song. He is an amazing soloist from Korea.
GOT7 is 100% still together they are taking a break for most of this year to do individual activities but will reassemble at the beginning of next year. (However, all of the members have expressed the eagerness to drop a group album ASAP) They as a team left their original company who was mistreating them. Jayb GOT7’s leader went to H1igher and the maknae of GOT7 Yugyeom went to AOMG both Jay Park labels. Mark and Jackson started their own companies. Jinyoung signed with a top tier acting company. Bambam singed with Abyss and Youngjae with sublime. So far 4 members have released solo albums this year with 2 coming soon and all have released music this year even if it was just a single!

Mark: he has a new single coming out 11.12 called Last Breath it’s a pre release from his upcoming album. Mark has been home in the U.S working on this album and the excitement is through the roof on what he’s going to put out.
^^ the members above are usually more hiphop/r&b sounding. The members below ⬇️ are more kpop and are a sprinkle of different genres depending on the track.
Bambam: “Ribbon” this song without a doubt is 1 of the most popular male solo releases of the year so far. The visuals and the song combinations really was just sooo amazing and more than anyone even expected. He even did a visual teaser for the whole album which I would also suggest watching because it’s incredible!
Youngjae: “vibin” probably is the most pop genre song on the list it’s an absolute bop and great vocals!
Jinyoung: “Dive” another pop song with killer vocals. Jinyoung hasn’t released much music this year as he’s one of Koreas most popular actors right now and is filming multiple dramas and movies at the same time
