You're welcome and thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you like it. You can store it in the fridge, make sure to let it rest and come to room temperature before using.
Years ago eggs were processed differently. You would always get 1 or 2 that were spoiled. If you crack the rotten egg in your mixture, then you contaminate the mixture and you would have to throw away the mixture and start over.
Your dough abit wet. Hence the sticking towards the end. If you were to further thin out the dough using the pasta machine, it might tear and break up. Just my 2 cents
d0minicting Ya, this dough is best for traditional "pull & pinch/tear method. You can add additional flour, if using pasta machine. Btw, Thanks for the tips and comment.
Improvement on your pan mee dough by stir up water, egg and water before you put into the flour. it safe more time :)

You're welcome dear :-)
4 cups for how many pax?
How many hours is the vigorous kneading? I need to know cz i kinda suck at kneading :’D
10 to 15 minutes.
You should always crack an egg into a bowl to smell and check if its spoilt or not, then only add into a batter or flour

Agree, this is a traditional style..
Thank you for this video. ^_^
can keep the dough in fridge? if cannot finish
Yes, you can but let it come to room temp.
May I know how many thickness you use for mee hoon kueh?
If pinch, no measurement, just don't make it too thin. For the machine, you can run thru #3 twice. Thanks.
i want to buy a noodle marker..can u recom me one..tq
The only brand I use is Marcato pasta machine...but I heard this one www.amazon.com/Philips-HR2357-05-Pasta-Maker/dp/B00REJMIJ6 is pretty good.
hi whats the portion for this dough?
+Joanna Bella This recipe served 3 to 4.
can the extra unused dough be kept in the fridge or freezer?
You can keep it in the fridge. Thanks.
Flavours Of Asia how long can it lasts in the fridge?
why do you need to let it rest for an hour? someone plz explain
The gluten needs to rest so the dough will not tear, shrink or curl back when you roll, stretch or pull it.
Seasaltwithfood ic....do i need to let it rest again if i re-kneel the dough?
You still need to let the dough rest if you re-knead it
You don't have to re-knead the dough. However, it's always good to let the dough rest, so you can pull or stretch it easily.
😮
Really yummy tastes I like it
Asha Kongari Thanks. I'm glad you like it.
U pakai mesin elektrik di mana tempat beli ya tq
Oh, itu elektrik beli separate (bukan set) dari Canada, tapi made in Italy.

The recipe is on the blog www.seasaltwithfood.com/2014/06/mee-hoon-kueh.html & the video is here: th-cam.com/video/r4Ko3X-ZCJI/w-d-xo.html
thanks😍
The dough can rest 30 mins as you are not trying to make a bread, no need to rise the dough but good video
Ya, 30 minutes is sufficient. Thanks.
It's left for an hour to relax the dough, otherwise it would be too rubbery. You will be surprised by the texture difference ;D.
THe longer, the pullable..
I got lazy 😂😂😂 while kneading the dough
hi ! can this noodles be dried and stored in dry cupboard?
I'm sure you can do that too..prob wont last as long because there is no addictive in it.
My mom always cook this for me now that shes gone i dont know to make this as i didnt learn from her..
Same , my grandma passed away , I regret so much never learn it from her
can we make a big batch of the dough and freeze it for later use?
I am not sure it will work. However, just remember to use the dough at room temperature.
We used to make a lot and freeze the noodle in air tight bag.
Tepong gandom ke ni..
这样看肯定不滑,少了点东西
