    Thank you Howard and Dave. I enjoyed listening to Howard's stories and the role he played in the history of craps. It is obvious the pair of you are great ambassadors to the game.

    It is worth the wait. Anything Mr. Newman says is worth listening to. Blueberry Hill is a great restaurant in Las Vegas. Three of them are on Flamingo Road and one is near Nellis AFB.

    Hello, I know this video is about a year old, but I was told about it by a friend. I was a part of PARR and went to what I think was the last one before the split and Golden Touch came out that next spring. As Howard stated they would split us up into groups and my group leader was Billy the Kid!
    Jerry Patterson was not there so I never met him, but we did have a mutual friend who had been on some professional blackjack teams with Jerry plus other teams without Jerry. But back to PARR, I was like a fly on the wall as I heard the discussions among the coaches about forming another group and the unhappiness over not being compensated.
    I remember meeting several of the guys in that one photo. Of course, the aforementioned Billy the Kid. I also remember Jerry the Stickman, great guy! I also spent some time with Dom and he and I kept in touch for a while over the years. I am still on his email list. He sent me an autographed copy of his first book back in the day.
    I also remember talking to Chris. And on that last day, a Sunday, we had a party at Bo’s house that night and played on his table. As Howard stated Bo is a VERY nice man. I talked to him as much as I could during my time. And I sent him a student once a few years later. Earlier, we had been at the dealer's school. There were a lot of great fellow students.
    Later, Jerry had a system for PARR students to network and meet in our local areas and I met a few. Lot of great stories about some of those guys!
    As Howard mentioned Jerry liked the old west and so do I. So, I used Knight of the Green Cloth for my handle. I got that name from a book of the same name except it was Knights, but the book was not about medieval Knights but rather it was a history of gamblers in the old west. Hence the green cloth! Jerry and I exchanged a few emails about the old west. I was at one time a certified history teacher.
    Oddly, I still have my PARR box, but I could never develop the skill and gave up on craps long ago. Thus, I am one of the nameless, faceless, forgettable people. And I doubt anyone I mentioned would remember me. In the meantime, I applied my gaming interest to Baccarat and developed my own methods.
    It was never my pleasure to meet Howard, but I sure heard a lot about him over the years!! So, I have known for a long time about his excellence and his graciousness as a true gentleman! As this video bares that out.
    I wish both you gentlemen all the best! Two great guys!!!!

      Thank you for the great comments! This game has so much untapped history. I'm so happy Howard agreed to sit down and talk about the early days of organized craps training. These guys had 'The Right Stuff'. No computers, just intelligence, experience and the desire to consistently beat the game. Truly legends in my mind!

    What is the five count I'm a newbie greenhorn comes to craps? Howard said he five counts people I don't understand that?

    • @SameBet
      @SameBet  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Dan. It's essentially waiting for 5 rolls of the dice on a random shooter before making bets. There are a couple of conditions where it could be more than 5 rolls, but you get the idea. The theory being that most shooters won't make it past 5 rolls and those that do are on a good streak. The Dominator did a video on this some time back. If you look for Golden Touch Craps, or the 5 Count you will find that video.
