Edo-wazao is a jointed fishing rod made of bamboo. The begining of this craft began in Edo(present-day Tokyo)in the early 18th century. Bamboo is carefully selected, and utilizing its flexibility, it is fashioned into a rod. It is lacquered to completion.

So beautiful I am crying
Absolutely beautiful, I would love to have one of these exquisitely crafted bamboo fishing rods!! I used to love using my grandfathers old 8' bamboo pole whenever he took me fishing. There just something about the action and responsiveness of a bamboo pole that fiberglass just doesn't have.
You all probably dont give a shit but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..?
I was dumb lost the login password. I love any tricks you can give me.
@Yousef Reyansh instablaster ;)

That’s seems so simple but that is because he has mastered his craft and works so elegantly and with such efficiency. I wish I was flexible enough to work sitting on the floor.

Good

I have two bamboo rods they're great for flip casting like that into little side lines and eddy currents. Mine are not bespoke handmade versions like these though just Japanese style rods.
Ok the bes japan ..

Dear ser, is it possible to contact the master who made this? I would like to order the fishing pole, but I need a delivery to the Europe (Latvia)?
Best regards,
Janis from Latvia
I could help you with that...send me a message. - Brandon, Itoshima, Japan
Awesome. What is the name of the tool to “hollow out” the bamboo? Are there any companies selling it? Many thanks
is it only Tanakia tanago species what is wanted? or some other small fishes?
😎📹👏👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What kind of reel is that on 0:24 ?
🙏🏻👏🏻🇧🇷🇯🇵
I want one :(
i tried to straight the bamboo, but that so hard af 🙄
OK....fuggit. Japanese are the master race. We should all just accept it and aspire to their perfection.
