it's worth mentioning that with Band Saws, the decent ones have an adjustable guide that lowers from the top down the blade to reduce the 'walk' you get by having a pair of bearings that the blade will rest against. It looks like you have one, but had it up as high as possible for visual clarity in recording, yes?
Also, haven't seen a Bench Shear like that in a good long while, kudos for having one Captain :D

A UniBit or step drill bit is very helpful two flutes work better than single

Also, a scroll saw allows you to make blind cuts: drill a hole and feed the blade through it. This is good for a variety of things

You can do a surprising amount with just a hacksaw, snips, and sand paper. My tools have since grown since starting he hobby to make life easier.

I got lucky. I came into Nerf modding from armor making so I already had many of these tools. Made things much easier and I take them very much for granted.

Excellent, as always. I was happy to see your focus on safety. I have done plenty of minor damage to myself working on plastic models in my younger years along with repairs around the house. I also strongly agree with your slow and steady approach, It is always harder to find the time to fix what you goofed up because you were rushed.

One tool that i use a fair bit that you did not cover is an angle grinder (AKA the big boi dremel) this can be good for when you want to cut larger sections of shell and the dremel just isnt doing it for ya ;)

Oooh, modding a Stampede? Can't wait for that, picked two up a little while ago that are in extremely good shape. Been looking for stuff to do with 'em since.

One tool I love for shell cutting and use almost exclusively is an oscillating multi tool. With fine-toothed blades it gets flawlessly straight, clean, and precise cuts. It’s almost like a hack saw except you can go about 20 times faster, and the cuts aren’t as wavy on the edge.

I would not recommend getting a cordless Dremel, I have one and they are not powerful enough for plastic, and if you get bogged down in plastic they shut off. I've had one for about a year now and the battery only lasts about 30 minutes.

Ever heard of a reamer? Multi edged round tool uses to clean up round holes. Takes about .015 off but makes very round and smooth surfaces inside of a drilled hole. My favorite way to set barrels.

I remember the good old days before I had a dremel when I would use a soldering iron to cut shells. Good times, good times

My hack saw has its own angle locking mount so i don't need the yellow thing. Handy but the mounts cuting space is kinda small.

Since you mentioned making armour bits with metal, is it worth replacing and/or reinforcing certain parts in my rig, i.e. my shoulder protectors and plates? I already have a bunch of stuff weaved on and I don't know if the extra weight and structural support would be worth it.

I have seen and used many of these but I have a feer of band saws because I almost got decapitated by one
Do my grand papa was drunk and I was helping him change blades he wanted to test it out with the blade exposed and I didn't want to do it but I trusted him because I was 7 but he runs it and I take a step back and the blade snaps and the blade goes right past my head and I peed my pants because I 2as scared and I almost died my grandpa wasn't as lucky he got hit in the arm but he is fine now and he also has quit drinking witch I am glad about because he is way safer with stuff now we still joke about it to this day
