I think the personas are kind of neat but I am more of a TLP player. I can have gear I share between classes while I level without having to trade them constantly, I can pick up no drop items for another class, quest items while playing my main, and most of all I can have a person with gate to travel across the world quickly when I don't want to look for a port or run my rogue across the world.
There are still family-style guilds out there like mine, if you do want to come back and just play when you can. (Megaen, Bertoxxulous server, Captain of Pirates Revenge). Come hang out with our crew!
@Mr.Mister1974 I get that BUT when you purchase heroic you are paying for that character to be heroic. That should carry over to personas because they are that same character, only with an added feature. I understand why they don't start them out at same level but they could at least give heroic toons their heroic level.
@Mr.Mister1974 Yeah. I kind of wonder which would actually net them more money. I mean. People may buy heroic just to get instant 100 personas on their 125s who otherwise wouldn't buy heroics at all. I certainly wouldn't buy a heroic for a persona, and would just as soon not use the feature if it means starting at level 1 again.
@@ryosanada6135 I think you are quite ignorant on the matter. What if you played a game that required you to lvl multiple character on the span of 20 years, then announce you will be able to have all classes on one character. On paper it sounds aright, but EVERYONE have a lot of character already, rendering the persona useless. FFxi and FFXIV had that feature from the start making it relevant. They should implement a feature where you can lvl your persona automaticly if you already have a character of that class lvled up.
You have a guild, you can get into the inn through guild portal. Also, as a chanter main, why are you exploring without a pet, a merc, runes and Veil of Mindshadow? Just a suggestion or 3.
Pretty sure that is just tossed out there so people will rush to it. They still make money off of TLPs and the krono farmer turds that lock down entire zones kneecapping casual players.
Nice to see you, FC! Thanks!

I am in your video at 2:21 and a couple other spots, that's me tanking! Was during Beta on a Dev testing night lol
you're teasing me man, i wanna come back but i don't got the time to play right. proud EQ is still going strong though.

At the very least, if the character is heroic, it should start your persona out at that heroic level.
People will just power level them to level 125 in a week anyways.

@jamesnewman8011 true. There thinking if you want it heroic pay for each persona to be heroic.

Wait till 25th anniversary tlp. Jump in then. It'll be the last hurrah for EQ1
I have heard "it'll be the last..." for about 20 years.

If I want to play a necro I will do just that or other class. Personas dumb.
