Sonia and Rouge would first have to agree to fuse. I don't see any circumstance why they would just so that Shadow can have a date with both of them. That may also inconvenience Knuckles. If they are using the Dragon Ball standard, the fusion would only last 30 minutes meaning they would have to fuse again every time they go on a date.

Not really. This is Julzs' own channel and own interpretation of the character. It's not officially related to Sega in any way so how Shadow ends up being in the games does not affect the character on his channel. He has to provide character development all on his own and make the decisions to change Shadow's character.
