Nice set up bro! ..In carry optics you can’t mount a magnet to the front of your belt , it has to be behind your hip bone but a mag pouch by itself also has to be behind the hip bone?
USPSA division rules changed for all divisions pertaining to gear positions about a year ago. Now magnets are allowed in every division and mag pouches can be positioned anywhere
@@mikeDstoker yea thanks, i just seen that last night! Good to know. I’ve been shooting for years but i just started getting into USPSA. Going to be an exciting journey!
@@mikeDstoker Boss vs Nevermiss, which one do you prefer now that you've had some time with them? Going with a new GX vice and trying to decide which of the hangers to go with. TIA
@@calgarysparky I like the versatility of the boss. Way more options. What I don't like is the size. Tends to dig into thigh. Nevermiss is less versatile but is shorter so doesn't dig. Moving forward I will be switching to the new T1000 hanger from henning group which is the best of all worlds. Hope that helps.
Setting up my carry optics rig been long time limited shooter. So we can have pouches anywhere on the belt like a limited setup? I didn’t see that rule change friends tell me it’s hip bone
Yes the rule was changed about a year ago that pouches can now position anywhere on the body. You can also have a flashlight on the gun and use a magnet. Holster style and distance from belt still applies but does not have to be behind hip bone anymore
Awesome stuff Mike.
Thank you
Very nice! How much!
In carry optics should the be magazine set up is inline with he hip bone?
