My partner of 11 years died from Acute Myloid Luekemia in March of 2021.
I played this album in its entirety for her in the Hospice/ ICU on the day she passed away. She was a huge Trevor Hall fan. I could not have played a more perfect album for her. Just about every song was so perfect and spoke so beautifully about what she was experiencing. I played the song " I remember you " at her Wake/ memorial and it was so fitting. I cry every time I listen to this album because in a way it felt like it was written for Brie.
I miss her so much. I hope you see this Comment Trevor and I want to thank you for creating such a beautiful, artistic, and expressive masterpiece that felt so fitting for someone who was crossing onto the next.

I have been doing grass roots organizing for the Poor People's Campaign. I had come to the conclusion that to organize in this movement we have to create spaces without the expecations and barriers that keep us divided. We have to allow people to come and go, a fluid space, where leadship is shared and we support each other. This song speaks to exaclty what we need to build capacity for the transformatoin into a new way of being. Thank you, I love you.
