God this fight is crazy and the music… playing this game with headphones makes the boss fights way more intense.
The music before the fight. Holy shit. They really put everything into the music
Did this fight give anyone else PTSD? I struggled with this boss for a month in the original FF7.
Had a very vivid nightmare about this boss, it creeps me out like no other monster i ever seen in video games or movies
Yeah it's demon look is bad enough for something we normally trust our back to being a wall. But the fact that it crushes you from all sides slowly is about as terrifying as the ocean.
In the original game, I got through the temple of the ancients and was unable to beat demons gate at level 32. I had to load an old save and grind.
I got so scared of demons gate i got to level fucking 70 before i tried the temple again. I hope they did this boss justice.
It's hard as fuck and killed me 6 times on Hard, so I think so.
Crazy how a couple of levels made that much of a difference. Everytime I went against him was always 35+

Come on, you can easily grind on the Dragon's boss room, enemies die from 1 hit if you summon the dragon and there's a monk outside that cures you for free

this fight looks a lot like the original game, very cool
In the original, the Red Dragon was a cake walk and this boss clocked me multiple times. In Rebirth, it was opposite.
Yeah they Red Dragon justice in this one. He was a legit badass.
This fight makes me want to put my scalp on the ceiling. With every fiber of my being I was so angry/butthurt over how 🎉cheap this fight was. It was hard on the original FFVII when I faced it the first time at like 8 years old. I should’ve known it was gonna be ridiculous on this version, especially on hard mode.
How did you prevent the walls from closing in? Assess said it wouldn't close it in if i did enough damage, but it seemed to push the walls all the way in before i even had a chance to do anything. Made the fight pure garbage with a worthless camera
I never even had a problem with the walls closing, I only noticed it was closer to me when the second demon wall was halfway dead. I just pushed damage hard.
I wouldn't call a challenge you can't overcome trash. Hone your skills and keep trying.
You have to do enough damage to it while it casts Encroach. I found the best method was spamming high damage moves like braver or -ga spells.
just wondering what happens if you can't beat it in the time limit

Man i got close to killing one and he went overdrive and just killed my whole party in like 3 seconds 🤣

Jesus Sephiroth voice actor is terrible.
I really don‘t like Cloud‘s. Do yourself a favor and listen to the German ones. They are soooo good.
