You guys should seriously look into one of these machines they’re kind of hard to find in the United States, but they’re out there Cranes LC785-6 Crawler Crane KOMATSU 4.9t
I find myself waking up on Thursdays and Sundays happy, because there is a Perkins’s Brothers video coming out! Sincerely thank you for doing and sharing a small part of your life with us common folk. 😂 keep up the good work. I think Jamie needs to wear a camera on his head and just let it film whatever, like a live type thing! That would be GOLDEN! But seriously, thank you ! It is greatly appreciated! From the other side of the mountain from you in Elizabethton.
people say, that people love to watch things get destoyed... yet im here absolutely enjoying things to get BUILD. soo satisfying to watch it all come together
Your home owners are special people, I remember Remele was helping onsite when possible and now Brock is there with his heavy equipment doing stuff. 👍 It’s special to see everyone working together to build this thing ! Super cool 😎 👍
It was too much fun for me (and I bet Brock might feel the same) not to hang out with these guys! And putting in some sweat equity on the build of your home - icing on the cake! Grateful I was invited to help out!!
Jason covering Jaime's ears to give ear protection was sweet. I love the camaraderie. That was a lot of backbreaking work getting those trusses up, but it looks good! Ooh, the drone footage looks sweet! I need to see if there's a Star Wars Let Jaime Talk version in blue. Web trusses are a cool thing.
from what i see you are one tight group of people. no negativity at all, all hands at deck when necessary, all having fun and joking. i wish the colleagues of mine where like this. all striving for the same goal. but all i got is negative people and whiners afraid to do any hard labour. im jealous of you guys.
Some great content today! The cloud banks looking like a lake of white - beautiful! BCO Ben and Brett - great job in the new merch and replacing Jaime’s tattered hat! The humor and camaraderie always excellent. The problem solving skills - always fun to see your brains at work! Have a great weekend, boys! ❤️🍁🍂🐦🔥❤️
Wow, Perkins brothers and crew. I just can’t believe how amazing this huge project is and how hard you guys all work and the knowledge and skill that you have. Really appreciate all of you guys. God bless.
You guys are awesome. I love that you have such a good time while doing hard physical work. Never hear any complaints. You have good chemistry between. That's hard to find in construction
The fog bank from drone footage was beautiful - up against the changing fall colors. Thank you for doing that. As beautiful as it was on camera, being there to see it live would be over the top.
This is going to be a sweet house. I love your videos. I find it funny on some of the DYI videos I watch, they always refer back to Perkins for advice. You guys are the best.
If Brock had a youtube channel where he did everyday tasks, like making a cup of coffee using his giant excavator, I would absolutely watch it. Watching him operate is like watching a violinist finessing a solo.
Watching this build series, I sure have a greater appreciation for the increased degree of difficulty in building these odd shaped, taller, diagonally sloped walls. I mean the amount of material handling/scaffolding work you guys have to do just to get 1 wall up! I'll bet you'll be ready to build a simple salt box home after this Mega home!
Good morning guys from the U.K. At 13:55 you were asking who Allen was; I can confirm it’s the name used over here in Britain for a tool called an Allen Key. It’s hexagonal & is used mostly for building kitchen or bedroom cabinets/cupboards mainly from flat packs (self-assembly). Hope this helps & keep up the great work & projects.
In the 90's I worked on the upper floor of a high rise in Downtown Minneapolis. One day the cloud layer settled below the upper floors. Looking out all you could see were the other tall buildings and a few water towers on the horizon with clear blue sky above. It was pretty cool.
As a guy who's only ever lived in big cities in stone or brick houses, I'm continuously incredulous that you guys build a house - and especially one as large as this one - out of lumber, a million screws, a gazillion nails, and uh.. "glue/sealant". Oh, and eight thousand miles of Zip tape. Amazing. Practically unbelievable! Kudos to you guys, lemme tellya!
Went through y'alls state on my way from central KY to Savannah, GA. Absolutely beautiful countryside loved the shots that you were able to get with the drone!
In 1976 we had an invasion of Ladybirds(Ladybugs) in the UK and I was working on the Humber bridge. The temporary jetty on the riverside was so covered in bugs you were walking on a carpet of red!
I really think it’s time for you guys to invest in a telehandler! It would really really help you guys out on these builds. Oh and maybe a dump trailer too. Don’t be afraid to invest in the business! You guys will find uses for the new equiptment that you didn’t know they had. Plus a year later you won’t know how you did your job without them!

sometimes the builders don't want the home owner around because they get in the way. They usually are to nice to say anything.

Quickest 25 minutes of my life!! Looks amazing guys!
You all need a block and tackle system that connects to your scaffolding. Makes lifting heavy stuff so much easier.
incredible drone footage awesome videos as always

I’m proud of you guys for setting those trusses the old fashioned way!

the drone shot made me miss living in the mountains.
22:12 That face is up there with the "Handsome Squidward" face!
You probably should have a "scissor lift" kind of thing just for lifting such trusses up. Can be battery drill powered, even
Really love thouse shirt and caps of perkins builders bro..
Watching you guys here in philippines..😉🤘
Although working on the same field virtually , loved to watch the real world changes from INDIA
Having the excavator to lift stuff up is a game changer!!! Now Jamie is going to want one.....
I was just up in Bryson City a few weekends ago and stopped by BCO. Love the merch section, need to get a new shirt now.

You guys really could get so much done with a forklift... it has to be worth the money for all the man hours and speed it can provide.

I'm a huge fan of the starwars "wipe transition" you're using for some shots 😊

I love your guys tool belt. But my suspenders where a Lil fudged up. But I'm happy.

I wonder if Jason is longing for paint after all the concrete work, trusses, and huge walls. Probably not...lol.
I wish these videos were a couple hours long so I could transport myself for longer out of this dreary rainy day here in Ontario, Canada.
Hang tight… Got an awesome three hour video coming out next Tuesday!
@@PerkinsBuilderBrothers Awesome ! Thanks
