8:30 he actually chanted the entire thing . gege hid it behind the sfx of the rubble to portray sukuna hiding his chanting from maki but she picked up on the last one. you can see the full chant on both sides of maki behind the exclamation marks. beautiful panel and great technique from gege.
Gojo was exhausted and just had a battle that fried his brain, literally. It was also the first instance of the world slash coming from Sukuna. He had no reason to expect that because up to that point, he hadn’t been able to send a slash that cut through his infinity. Also, Maki was 100% fresh and locked in. Gojo had just let his guard down after Mahoraga was destroyed in the massive purple blast. It’s kind of a callback to Toji v Gojo when he got stabbed through the back as soon as he let his guard down.
That argument quickly crumbles to Ash when you consider that he knew Sukuna was hiding something and hadn't gone all out and the fact that the last time he'd thought he won, Sukuna pulled something. Also with their ideals I doubt he'd think Sukuna would throw a dud for no reason. In the whole fight neither kept their guard completely down even when they believed to be on top. 2. He knew Sukuna could easily imitate something he just saw as it happened earlier with c.t burnout + this specific attack was one Gojo had seen already used on him and the mechanics of how it worked would have likely been known to him.(like it being Sukunas c.t instead of a change in property in c.t something evident even to Sukuna with his normal sight and high sense). 3. He was pretty fresh after those last black flashes + on a high from the fight and his eyes and ability to detect c.t/c.e sparks wouldn't suddenly stop working even if he's abit tired, against a pretty inexperienced Gojo, Toji had to completely exhaust him, wait for him to lower his guard completely, hide anything with C.E and have not C.E to detect to land an attack. Gojo would have had to feel the spark and see C.E building, watched the slash come his way and consciously decide to take a hit from this person he believed still has something hidden and while not being sure if Sukuna had copied Moha or not even though he had just seen him copy a high lvl ability earlier. To make it worse in the airport scene he seems unaware of anything seemingly having it seem like the slash K.O him without him noticing it or any of behaviour from Sukuna. Its not even a speed problem as if Maki can Gojo definitely could move out of the way. It's good 236 happened offscreen, Gege has time to cook.

Being caught off guard while in the zone and in a high from the fight (which both leave you on guard), including having early warning (6eyes and spark), knowing you're fighting the strongest and craftiest sorcerer ever, who has something not fully known to you up his sleave like replicating c.t from seeing them and knowing your opponent is more likely to die than lose in a disgraceful manner like throwing an attack that wouldn't do anything, just makes Gojo look suddenly stupid which is unlike what he'd shown across that entire fight.

We saw that Gojo couldn't react to Sukuna's first Dismantle when it hit the building, he was surprised. He also couldn't react to Mahoraga's slash that cut off his arm. Gojo knew Mahoraga had adapted to Infinity so he would've dodged that if he could've.
Based on Gege writing style most characters don't get a rematch involving fights against the same opponent. I'm not disagreeing with you, but I notice this for a while. It feels like Sukuna will defeat everybody at the end then fight the final boss so maybe Gege is setting him up as the true Mc of the story.

Gojo could see sukunas attack. In the first chapter of the fight gojo makes a face at the dismantle, he even looks at it hit the building. It's no secret that being able to perceive his attack is unique somehow. But that dismantle is the same as the world bisecting dismantle, the only difference is the target. Normally a dismantle can't travel to him, I don't see why it is crazy to assume he would have assumed it wouldn't cross infinity. Nobody was going to predict he could target beyond gojo
Gojo should have been able to see it, with the six eyes it would be dumb if six eyes couldn't see it, but gojo probably thought why dodge if it won't pass infinity. Then he wakes up next to geto wondering what happened and then he realized it. Gojo lost because of his overconfidence and relaying too much on infinity, had he kept fighting with the same level of care as when he was fighting mahoraga, the fight would probably still be going.

What if kenjaku and Sukuna's binding vow involves both Yuji and the merger so that Sukuna could have a formidable opponent in Yuji, teaching him about the power of love, or sincerely change his ideology in a genuine fashion? If Sukuna is called fallen, what if Yuji is Sukuna's only redemption, because, something Sukuna he did was found to be unforgivable through ordinary means? Kenjaku used this as leverage. This is probably why Sukuna tries to push everyone around him to evolve. Maybe Sukuna is trying to avoid karma in the afterlife again... And Yuji is his peaceful rest or relief in the afterlife... Toji had incredible reflexes and perception. He could fight high tier cursed spirits that were invisible to him. Maki dodging invisible attacks isn't crazy.

His reverse cursed technique isn't as advanced as you think, hakaris is more powerful than both sukuna and gojo. gojo used up most of his CE throughout his fight with sukuna. the black flashes he landed gave him a good boost in power to land his final hollow purple but unfortunately he was low on CE and was blind sided by sukunas new world cutting dismantle so instead of tanking the attack it went through him entirely killing him.
What if Yuji swap souls with Megumi!!?Maybe as he swaps with Megumi Sukuna an Yuji will revert to their initial dinamic,like a normal Yuji with repressed Sukuna inside,so that everyone can execute Yuji with the 20 fingers as they always intended. If you think about it Yuji having soul swap CT kind of explains why he was able to "swap" with Sukuna from day one.
I don’t think Yuji having problems isn’t a sign of his inexperience with RCT. Cause besides jackpot hikari and gojo who else in the entirety of JJK has been taking killing blows consistently in rapid succession and using RCT to heal themselves like Yuji? Him learning RCT in a month is a testament to yuji’s hard work and determination cause bro is genuinely a genius when it comes to cursed energy application. He learned and tied the black flash record the same day and is currently the only character in the entirety of the series who pulled it off more then anyone else So him being able to pick up and learn RCT and apply it to the degree that he’s been doing it is genuinely in character for Yuji.
I think it was explained on the narration that Yuji and Sukuna soul share the same outline. Maki accidentally stabbed him through Sukuna's soul. And Yuji had near dead experience and he think about RCT. Another troll from Gege.
i agree so much plus ppl forget that yuji is one of the the only people who are able to naturally damage a persons soul with bare hands and he can feel his snd others soul to a degree so it makes sense for him more than regular sorcerers to be able to pull off learning it that quickly
Plus we knoe Sukuna using RCT in his body helps him learn it, Kenjaku describes that rika's sheer CE supply being tied to Yuta helped him develop a hell of a lot quicker. Same can be assumed for Yuji.

Your theory on Yuji taking Sukuna back into his body and having Maki kill him while everyone looks on. Fulfills his wish, protects his friends, and dies well. Series fades to black with Gojo opening his eyes and the roar of some powerful distant cursed spirit in the background. (Perhaps the one shown when Kenjaku was talking about his “Will”) Also. Hakari is just stalling. I feel like Urame is the key to some part of their plan.

Back in the Heian Era, Sukuna was already intrinsically strong. But as tales of his might spread, it's as if he absorbed the perceptions of those around him. If people feared him, he grew more fearsome. If they admired him, he gained more power and prestige. For example, rumors of him having four arms could have led to him actually developing such a trait. Similarly, stories of him consuming human flesh might have resulted in the emergence of an additional mouth. Even his mastery of ancient techniques like Open Fuga could stem from the belief that he possesses ancient knowledge. I mean, countless people, sorcerers and curses throughout time admired and/or feared his overwhelming power. Maybe even in death, he never stopped growing more powerful. In essence, Sukuna became the embodiment of the image people created of him, kind of like how Suguru Geto questioned whether Satoru Gojo's strength stemmed from his reputation rather than intrinsic ability. Yuji learned blood manipulation because he ate the other 6 death womb paintings who presumably all had forms or blood manipulation. This is basically like what Gojo was describing at the start of the manga with Sukuna's CT bring imprinted on him, instead cursed wombs ended up being imprinted.
So is cursed blood technique used at its fullest kinda make the user like hikari? Like if they are cut in half they could use there blood to pull there torso back to there legs and then use advanced reverse technique to heal it making it one of the reasons it's one of the top 3 big family techniques

Gojo had fought Sukuna for awhile, and used both rct throughout most of the fight, and multiple domain expansions. I find it believable that gassed Gojo got hit by the world dismantling slash, and fresh, full strength Maki, that can also see the slashes(something only Mahoraga has done) would be able to sense, see, and avoid them

Nah he did use the world slash. Read the panel again. He used the rubble he threw at maki to hide the first two chants of world slash. But maki heard the last chant and dodged it
@@floppa731Look closer at the panels leading up to where Maki hears the last part. It's hidden behind the sound effects, and likely why Maki didn't hear the start of the incantation. The Shounen Jump translators missed it so the bubbles are still in japanese.
I'm pretty sure it just means sukuna is going to reveal more of his kit. We already know he has technique(s) he is hiding. Gojo's infintiy kinda made sure he didn't use them. And sukunas slashing techniques are good enough for the others. Now that he has seemingly taken a few out, he can now showcase his full kit.
I think that it would been awesome if they would've used some disinformation tactics over the time that Sakuna was just posted up in Yugi. I mean they just told him so much information, like it was nothing...lol
I think the strategy is to run through every sorcerer they have, and they are secretly getting healed so they can all come back and jump him as he's weak including Gojo
My theory Kenny can past down techniques of the body he has or set the technique in the body he has based on the memories he has stored, if he was Kamo in the past and kept that technique in his memory then it makes sense to swap the bodies technique for he believes is the strongest technique for his offspring
I think Yuji coughing up blood could be tied to him being with Sukuna's soul for so long that Maki's sword hitting Sukuna is somehow affecting Yuji's soul

I think shrine is his actual CT but his FUGA and black box stuff are just chants. I think the fire arrow and other technuiqes he uses/copys are just Sukuna observing a technuiqe and imatating it with Cursed energy. This can be observed when he imates pirecing blood with max elephants water and the black box fuga can be him using cursed energy to make the arrow cause in JJKCC (the new game) he uses the fire arrow but it looks more like cursd energy then fire. Thats just my theory.
Imagine if the restriction was that Sakuna only had access to half of his curse energy until his death in exchange for the remaining half accumulating more power and he's just stalling it to wear everyone out til he dies, which then he pulls a Dark Souls moment by bringing himself back to life with RCT once he has full access to his CE and starts phase 3

i could actually think of a way that makes the sumo training make sense a bit more. in my mind, its not just that you have to accept to go in to his domain " they did establish this rule in the chapter " but it may also be that he must actually want to fight you as well. meaning he couldn't have done it with just any person to train them. if they wern't a worthy opponent in his mind, it would be a no go. that would make more sense as to why he didn't just train every single person in the series

Hakari actually moved his DE vs Kashimo, moving him over the sea so that he would electrocute himself not knowing the chemical attributes of water + electricity. electrolysis of seawater to release Chlorine gas
when toji surprise attacked gojo, gojo was losing and then awakened and became op, now makinsurprise attacks sukuna. I think this mirror of events will lead to an awakening of sukuna, the true power

Gojo was exhausted and just had a battle that fried his brain, literally.
It was also the first instance of the world slash coming from Sukuna. He had no reason to expect that because up to that point, he hadn’t been able to send a slash that cut through his infinity.
Also, Maki was 100% fresh and locked in. Gojo had just let his guard down after Mahoraga was destroyed in the massive purple blast.
It’s kind of a callback to Toji v Gojo when he got stabbed through the back as soon as he let his guard down.
That argument quickly crumbles to Ash when you consider that he knew Sukuna was hiding something and hadn't gone all out and the fact that the last time he'd thought he won, Sukuna pulled something. Also with their ideals I doubt he'd think Sukuna would throw a dud for no reason. In the whole fight neither kept their guard completely down even when they believed to be on top.
2. He knew Sukuna could easily imitate something he just saw as it happened earlier with c.t burnout + this specific attack was one Gojo had seen already used on him and the mechanics of how it worked would have likely been known to him.(like it being Sukunas c.t instead of a change in property in c.t something evident even to Sukuna with his normal sight and high sense).
3. He was pretty fresh after those last black flashes + on a high from the fight and his eyes and ability to detect c.t/c.e sparks wouldn't suddenly stop working even if he's abit tired, against a pretty inexperienced Gojo, Toji had to completely exhaust him, wait for him to lower his guard completely, hide anything with C.E and have not C.E to detect to land an attack.
Gojo would have had to feel the spark and see C.E building, watched the slash come his way and consciously decide to take a hit from this person he believed still has something hidden and while not being sure if Sukuna had copied Moha or not even though he had just seen him copy a high lvl ability earlier.
To make it worse in the airport scene he seems unaware of anything seemingly having it seem like the slash K.O him without him noticing it or any of behaviour from Sukuna. Its not even a speed problem as if Maki can Gojo definitely could move out of the way.

We saw that Gojo couldn't react to Sukuna's first Dismantle when it hit the building, he was surprised. He also couldn't react to Mahoraga's slash that cut off his arm. Gojo knew Mahoraga had adapted to Infinity so he would've dodged that if he could've.
Based on Gege writing style most characters don't get a rematch involving fights against the same opponent. I'm not disagreeing with you, but I notice this for a while. Gojo could see sukunas attack. In the first chapter of the fight gojo makes a face at the dismantle, he even looks at it hit the building. It's no secret that being able to perceive his attack is unique somehow. But that dismantle is the same as the world bisecting dismantle, the only difference is the target. Normally a dismantle can't travel to him, I don't see why it is crazy to assume he would have assumed it wouldn't cross infinity. Nobody was going to predict he could target beyond gojo

His reverse cursed technique isn't as advanced as you think, hakaris is more powerful than both sukuna and gojo. gojo used up most of his CE throughout his fight with sukuna. the black flashes he landed gave him a good boost in power to land his final hollow purple but unfortunately he was low on CE and was blind sided by sukunas new world cutting dismantle so instead of tanking the attack it went through him entirely killing him.

I find it believable that gassed Gojo got hit by the world dismantling slash, and fresh, full strength Maki, that can also see the slashes(something only Mahoraga has done) would be able to sense, see, and avoid them
Sukuna is probably using restrictions all the time. A restriction that reduces his cursed energy if he is fighting someone who bores him for example.

Nah he did use the world slash. Read the panel again. He used the rubble he threw at maki to hide the first two chants of world slash. But maki heard the last chant and dodged it

I'm pretty sure it just means sukuna is going to reveal more of his kit. We already know he has technique(s) he is hiding. Gojo's infintiy kinda made sure he didn't use them. And sukunas slashing techniques are good enough for the others. Now that he has seemingly taken a few out, he can now showcase his full kit.

My theory Kenny can past down techniques of the body he has or set the technique in the body he has based on the memories he has stored, if he was Kamo in the past and kept that technique in his memory then it makes sense to swap the bodies technique for he believes is the strongest technique for his offspring

I think shrine is his actual CT but his FUGA and black box stuff are just chants. I think the fire arrow and other technuiqes he uses/copys are just Sukuna observing a technuiqe and imatating it with Cursed energy. This can be observed when he imates pirecing blood with max elephants water and the black box fuga can be him using cursed energy to make the arrow cause in JJKCC (the new game) he uses the fire arrow but it looks more like cursd energy then fire. Thats just my theory.

i could actually think of a way that makes the sumo training make sense a bit more. in my mind, its not just that you have to accept to go in to his domain " they did establish this rule in the chapter " but it may also be that he must actually want to fight you as well. meaning he couldn't have done it with just any person to train them. if they wern't a worthy opponent in his mind, it would be a no go. that would make more sense as to why he didn't just train every single person in the series

So Gojo I know would definitely expect it just matter of time until sukuna evolve his dismantle into Mahoraga's adaptation.
