Anointing is when someone can sing with such conviction and experience and yielding, our spirits connect and we receive a greater experience of the Lord through them. The song was originally recorded by " Institutional Church of God In Christ" out of New York!!! They were also known for " Stretch Out." Many great gospel singers came out of this church such as: Joyce Rogers,Carolyn White, Monique Walker( hezekiah Walker) and James Hall.

Yup... I noticed a long time ago that as soon as Hezekiah changed the choir's name to LFT, his choir went down hill from there (for me). I mean, they're still good... it's just ...well, not as good as before. Their whole sound is different than what I knew of compared to back in the day.
