Mullein, An Illegal Fishing plant or incredible fire starter?

Mullein is such an incredible plant for so many uses! It's medicinal value is unquestionable but it's also a champ for hand drill fire starting & the seeds contain chemicals that sun fish, a highly illegal method so don't do it! Using the seeds for illegal fishing will cost you a fortune & quite possibly jail time, using the stalk as a hand drill to start a fire might give you a warm night in a bad situation.
This video was for purely educational purposes. Not only do I not condone using mullien for fishing I'll be the first to turn in any poacher! As a fire starter even when in wet conditions the old standing stalks are usually dry enough to make a spindle & hearth board for a hand drill fire starter. There are lots of how to videos on using a hand drill to make a fire so I didn't bother making a fire..
