Well done to the the officer piloting the drone, for vigilence and initiating a timelt response by officers on the ground.
Hopefully the officers on the ground have also been trained on the lawful operation of drones by members of the public, so that those who are flying lawfully don't have to deal with the harassment of uninformed officers and busy-body members of the public.

Yeah if you do the math and calculations. A few drones can just go straight up. Use good cameras and just see the entire damn city from a mile or two up. Then when you stop they slowly come towards you with ease. We'll have better technology and they will just have a drone follow you. If the battery is low another drone takes its place easily. Locks into your car and even identifies other cars similar to yours. We can use AI to revamp police department. If cops are scared to lets say enter a building. WE can just start sending robots to shoot and kill criminals. They dont need to be human shaped but yeah. It would be pretty freaking easy to use robots to deal with criminals now days. We used drones and unmanned aircrafts in 2009. Operators IN TEXAS bombing locations 8000 miles away. It would be pretty cool to see a bunch of robots go after criminals. LOL
