This scene almost made me tear up when the parents from her memory looked at her! They're just 15 years old girls carrying the fate of the universe in their hands, and this scene shows what they are going to lose if they fail on a personal level! At this moment the entire world was gone, it was just the two of them with their fairies, Hikari had disappeared and the Queen hadn't been revived, they had their Bracelets destroyed and had been defeated by Baldez and falling into darkness! This scene of their memories giving them strength to stand up one more time coupled with that soundtrack hits perfectly! Futari wa Pretty Cure was a story about their daily lives, and what they fought to protect wasn't necessarily the world, but that mundane life. The soundtrack sold precisely the small scale of what was truly precious to them, and I love this scene for it!
wow you wrote alot xD imma pin u cuz like its basically what youve just explained the show to be i love this show so much cuz of how like inspiring it is 🥹
There's one pretty sad thing about Nagisa that this scene highlights to me and it's an aspect of her that's present throughout the whole series. In her own eyes she's a screw up. But despite that being what she thinks of herself she really isn't. The scene shows she had this problem when she was little (focusing more on how she screwed up by falling in the race, then the fact that she still won in spite of that) and it's a problem she carries with her throughout the og series and Max Heart and never really overcomes.
As a guy who is very invested in history, this makes me think of WW2 a bit, more from Britains perspective from 1940 - 1941, they were alone, besides a few small nations coming and going, they could've lost everything, the world was at stake, this is personally what I relate to seeing this.
Well, considering everything they fut in 1700 and 1800 and even today. I don't feel any sympathy. From someone who read the history of my country under the British Empire.
@anirudhsukigakirei9397 It's true that the Brits did do horrible things to the tribal people and anyone who didn't go along with the empire. Imagine living under some Nazi Facist African regime. could've been worse. What they thought of Africans was probably worse than the Brits, considering their "racial supremacy" policies and ideologies, we probably could've been set back to the 1800 ways of thinking, saying that the Nazis killed not just the Jews but, Dutch, Belgians, Danish, Poles, Communists, Gypsies, And almost anyone who wasnt "Pure" Aryan race, if that kept going the Black's could've been next. Considering the Racism that was already going on against them at the time. (I'd Assume your on the African Step because that's where most of the British empire was, but you could've been in the Raj, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar (Burma), Iraq, Yemen, Oman, Kuwait, Israel & Palestine, Jordan, Cyprus, Their Pacific Islands I dont feel like naming and Malta.. the Argument applies that things could've been alot worse)
@@anirudhsukigakirei9397 I talking about the precure fighting and losing. In this scene the earth is dead. Precure won’t have the victory earned like this. Most final battle don’t have the mains progressing the story. Smile did it, heartcatch did it. DEFINITELY splash star🩵🩵
