I’m a “white guy” who adopted Hinduism years ago, I love wearing a dhoti, and angavastram of course. When I do everyone at temple smiles and approves. One lady said she wishes her husband would dress like that. Anyway, I like this video because it’s so simple. It usually takes me longer to wrap the dhoti than the puja lasts. 🤣🤣🤣 Dhanyavād! 🙏🏻
Comming back to this video just to express a big thank you to the person who has made this video. Sir after watching your video in 2018 i tried wearing the way you suggested it and it made wonders and for last 2 years whenever i attend any family function i always wear the dhoti and it really helps a lot.
Looks simple after watching. We all have to know and follow our traditions. I will wear dothi now for all festivals and while going temples.. Thanks a lot dear..
Will try this on my son today as it's Janamashtami...... Hope I'll be a good learner as your way of teaching this is too simple and appropriate...Thanks for sharing
@@IshaanSingh , but this way of wearing secures your left leg, but right leg is vulnerable (to be exposed). Am pretty sure the traditional way of wearing Dhoti in India (by people of my village and mandir pujak) is secure all around, so must be different.

Indians should start wearing our traditional clothes like dhoti and sarie which suits our climate. Our mind is still colonised. See here how beautiful dhoti looks...

Hi, I'm moving to india after college and I've heard that traditional indian clothing is better suited for the climate than west clothing; however, I've also heard that people generally dislike westerners wearing traditional indian garb. Can some of you guys comment your thoughts down below?
Hello! It is really convenient and well suited to wear Indian clothing for the kind of weather conditions the country has, and especially its summers. About your apprehensions with regard to westerners wearing traditional Indian garb, I don't think that is the case as long as one doesn't show any sort of a disrespect, or does any disrespectful acts while wearing one. As a matter of fact, I, as a fellow Indian would more than appreciate seeing westerners wearing our Indian traditional clothings. Hope this helps. :)
Hindus dont mind if any foreigners wear traditional indian clothing. But still there are a few people from other faiths (indians) who may give a weird look or even stare if foreigners (or even the hindu indians) wear dhoti.
