Watson called. Several times. It seemed both monotone and angry about your comment. I told it to leave me alone. Response: "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that." Uh oh
Thank goodness. It was all thanks to those breaks, those wagers on the Daily Doubles, and the Final Jeopardy! responses, and James’s taunting on Brad, a couple of times.
Back then it was always Brad, Brad, Brad, and even I got annoyed by him winning each of those tournaments and such, but even so, you can’t deny his ability and ways of playing this entire game, just like when it comes to Ken doing the same. However, with that Greatest of All Time tournament, it wasn’t like Brad even came to play- he just got no checkmarks and two wicked burns from their competitor, James Holzhauer, on both his hometown and score at zero. With that result, it finally gave Ken Jennings the victory that he’s been wanting for a long time, especially with Alex Trebek around. You are always missed around here, Alex.
I was a little disappointed in Alex's response to the question about the beginning of World War II because while the answer given was the Americentric date,. in 1941 after Pearl Harbor, he very sternly corrected the answer by saying it was the 1939 invasion of Poland. However, that's the Eurocentric version. World War II actually began in 1937 in Asia so it's just a matter of perspective and therefore 1941 was as good of an answer as 1939.
Before during and after was such a cool catagory
There is no question, the greatest Jeopardy champion of all time is Ken Jennings.
