My, that reminds my back to the 90's, when our (small) church choir managed to perform all missae breves by Mozart in one year, 'twas 1991, the 200th anniversary of his death. And of course sometimes afterwards also, when appropriate.
Me playing the organ continuo and singing the choir bass line with it (mostly the same), secretly unterstudying the bass solo, hoping I would come to sing that too. All of this in a small Austrian baroque church, trying to come as near as possible to the practice in Mozart's time.
This one mass I'm loving in particular, it sounds very familiar and reminds of Christmas. The perfoming is very good, but none less could be expected from Harnoncourt and what I think to be the Concentus Musicus and the Arnold Schoenberg Choir.
And now I'm sitting before my laptop, lost in rememberances and singing the bass line by heart as I used to 25 years ago ...

I sang this with my city's youth choir back in 2015 and it's wonderful to realize how much I still remember from it, 7 years later! At 22 I may sing as a soprano, having finally accepted that that's my timbre, but at 15 I was still stubborn enough to sing as an alto (because I love how it's the filling of the proverbial harmony cake), and it's lovely to hum that section again. Although, if I sang this now, I'd be delighted to sing the soprano line as softly and as loudly as I can!

I’m surprised how freely he changes tempo and meter! His music almost always has a sort of childlike purity to me and this piece really feels like Little Wolfie is playing with building blocks, going on his merry way wherever he sees fit. Personally, I find the music from his childhood vastly overrated (yes, it’s amazing that a child was writing this stuff but it’s nothing compared to his last 10 years) but I also can’t deny his level of craft. The counterpoint is absolutely rock solid and the moments of imitative polyphony are just as if not more competent than many composers today could even do. THANKS FOR SHARING!

About meter and tempo changing, we must notice that he's just following the text, and it's pretty normal to have something like that in a mass.
Nothing to say about the rest, counterpoint is rich and harmony is sometimes very interesting.
I personally find astonishing the syncopated rhythm of the Hosanna.

No one ever said that his earlier works are as good his later ones. This is amazing! This is a MIRACLE!

I don't know if I'm more surprised that something like that could have happened, or that no one ever noticed that in one year and half...

How have I never heard this before. I disagree with Samuel William that the childhood music written by Mozart is overrated, in fact I think it is not heard enough! The requiem is heard far too much, leaving pure and stunning masses like this unheard! It's definitely less dramatic than his later works, but that isn't always the most important thing. EDIT: Mozart composed this when he was 12... TWELVE!!!
