@@johnrobertson9405 Not been up that way this year, but it's a bit more gentrified now. The original Barra's atmosphere is long gone sadly. Loved the old Christmas Eve's there! G.E.A.R. wasn't there, but the shop was still there last year. Best to you and yours too.

@@grobbler1 First went to the Barras about 40 years ago It was my wife that dragged me there I loved it
I played a lot of football and it was a great place to get the foreign football tops.I loved the kebabs place at the Barras entrance The wee stalls had just started selling the Home made doughnuts Wee called them dirty doughnuts as I sont think the oil was ever changed but they tasted bloody brilliant I would look for any excuse to go there of a Sunday morning
