but the people who made this city marvel on the earth over the centuries were not Pukhtoon but Hindko people, before 1947 only 5 % were Pushtoon rest were civilized Hindko-speaking Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus, and Jews.

That is a hard question to answer.. each country ranks in my mind based on different things.. so Pakistan is right up there for hospitality and landscapes, Bolivia for variety of landscapes and people who share the same dry humour as Brits, Bangladesh for the land with the most smiles.. and on we go 😁

I don't know if you noticed this, but Khyber and Balochistan province of Pakistan are NOT part of Indian subcontinent. They are historically part of "Greater Iran" which also included present day Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan at one point in history. The people living in those provinces (Pashtuns and Baloch) are Iranic people and speak Iranic languages. There is a subtle difference in culture, food, language, when you move from Indic or Indian provinces of Pakistan (Punjab and Sindh) to Iranic provinces, with Afghan and Iranian culture more dominant with traditional Balochi Sajji, Green Tea, Afghan Cuisine, besides many other things. Also, the Iranic parts of Pakistan are more conservative than Indic parts.
