Zdravo Aleksa.

I converted that edge there, because when you convert something is already fully defined, and i used that converted circle (wich has 12 mm in diameter) to make the rectangle, i used the circle as a reference for the rectangle,
So basically, you use convert entities command when you need something you already made in another sketch (in the same plane), because it comes already defined, I hope I helped you with this 🙂,

One thing that you can do to save time is to extrude only the first tooth, chamfer the two edges, then under Features, use Circular Pattern to pattern the extrusion and chamfer features.
Also, for the cut that squares the end of the axle, you can sketch just the square and skip the triangles. After that, when using the extruded cut, choose Direction: Blind, Distance: 16mm, and check "flip side to cut." That will cut everything OUTSIDE the sketch boundaries.
