Haha i still am. Just gotta hide it now that im practically an adult. Can still privately dream of other worlds of magic and beautiful enchanting forests and friendly driads and fawns...ugh. who wants earth anyway.
I can't believe some people hate this. I mean I can't LIVE without it. And this is, no doubt, the best soundtrack in the world! I MEAN THE BEST! It just captures my imagination and the pictures almost turn clear. It just sucks you in! All hale Harry Gregson Williams!
It was the year 2008. I was sitting on a plane headed from my home town in Switzerland to London. My dad and I were on our way to the Prince Caspian premiere! Being a livelong Narnia fan and growing up with these movies, I was so excited. We were about to land, I put on my headphones and started listening to this exact song. To this day, I remember how epic and thrilled I felt. Getting to meet the actors and see the film on the HUGE screen at the O2 Arena was a dream come true. Whenever I come back to listen to this song, all the memories come back. These films and books were my childhood
4:39 The battle of Narnia in the country's Golden Age when Sir Peter and his army fought against the evil sorcerer, the White Witch and her army of orcs, minotaurs, hags, and other miscellaneous distorted creatures of darkness.
All of Narnia's music brings goosebumps over me. I shiver with delight. I love the films and the music, its so lovely... I just wish Narnia is real but some how I always think it is. So lets just search through our wardrobes and hope we will enter a world filled with snow and a lamp post. I just wanna say, LONG LIVE ASLAN and NARNIA FOREVER!!
I'm a writer too. For a teenage audience, sort of 11-26 year old. I always find it easier to right to music. This one really sets my imagination running!
he says "For Narnia!" in the first battle because he believes that Aslan isn't in Narnia, in the second its at Aslans How (Duh) so he yells in memory of him "For Aslan!"
I just got done watching this movie! I still say the first movie is (and always will be) the best, but the second is still good. At any rate, it's one of the better sequels, one they actually spend time and effort and love on.
idk, for some reason i am so in love with all of the chronicles of narnia. edmund, lucy, susan and caspian have all grown up. and boy prince caspian is mighty fine, especially in voyage of the dawn treader.
Oh, my GOSH, this song is so familiar... I guess that's what happens when you've watched the movie so many times you can quote most of it perfectly with no cues...
@Cousjava Correction, if you remember, the boy from the first book planted a toffee tree. Think about this now. He picked one of the toffee pieces that grew on the tree and brought it back with him. Is it not possible that he planted one of those toffee pieces and it had the same magical properties as in Narnia and sprouted a new tree. So that means that, by means of simple logic, that anything made from that tree would have same magical properties, no?
@music2Hisears95 that part of the soundtrack is from narnia 1 Ive seen they use more parts from music in this film from the other...And somethimes a little bit diffrend
i loved this scene...What i find ironic is that my bf and Caspian look a Lot alike...they have the same hair, both have accents(though my bf is french)...they both fight amazing with a sword....over all, Great movie!
ShastaPrinceCor Same here! It's exactly the same thing. I'm writing this story called the Serpent Rider and just goes PERFECT with it. What's your story about?
@music2Hisears95 Absolutely agreed. Listening to it made me feel like I was being lifted off the ground, like my heart was flying. If that made any sense. It was beautiful
Talk about nostalgia... holy crap. I was obsessed with this score as a kid.
It’s still incredible ten years later...
Haha i still am. Just gotta hide it now that im practically an adult. Can still privately dream of other worlds of magic and beautiful enchanting forests and friendly driads and fawns...ugh. who wants earth anyway.

4:39 The battle of Narnia in the country's Golden Age when Sir Peter and his army fought against the evil sorcerer, the White Witch and her army of orcs, minotaurs, hags, and other miscellaneous distorted creatures of darkness.
The Telmarines would dislike this video, since the music accompanies them getting their asses kicked!

Peter says it just in the first movie. In the second he says just "For Narnia!" in the first battle, and "For Aslan!" in the second and last battle.
I love the beginning of the music. More epic and awesome! :D
he says "For Narnia!" in the first battle because he believes that Aslan isn't in Narnia, in the second its at Aslans How (Duh) so he yells in memory of him "For Aslan!"

Wars are incredibley expensive and extremely violent to fighting in. How would you succeed in surviving from one?
Oh, my GOSH, this song is so familiar... I guess that's what happens when you've watched the movie so many times you can quote most of it perfectly with no cues...

I love Hans Zimmers work and Harry Gregson-Williams they do the best music for Walt Disney (most of it these days)
Royal Guardsman taking part in all wars and combat operations.
