Folks - when you get called up on stage like this, and the main celebrity chimes in, we need you to take the harmony. Yes, we love hearing you sing, and we enjoy hearing you both sing together, but nobody wants to hear you both sing the melody. HAA! She's got some vocals for sure, and she's fun to listen to, but I would have given a lot for her to take the harmony there at the end.
I agree 1000% with you. o many so-called "singers" think that by adding all those extra notes, they're showing how "good" a singer they are. IMHO, all they're doing is proving that they have to rely on gimmicky perversions of the song so people will think they've got talent.
