laser light is already polarised, so there is a great chance that your 1st beam splitter wont split 50/50 (unless the laser polarization is properly 45 degree from the cube horizontal or vertical direction). Therefore interference will be small

This will work with a green laser or any color laser. There is no crystal in this set up, just a polarizing beam splitter which is basically two prisms glued together at their hypotenuses. There is a thin film coating on the hypotenuse to select for polarization.
