Hello Sir, This is really an informative video, thanks for sharing this. I've one query: after the background job is finished successfully, there is no spool generated and the spool icon is missing. Could you please let me know how I can get the spool icon. In your video also I can see (at 9:46) some of the finished jobs have no spool and some do have. Can you please let me know where is the control for the spool or no spool. Without the spool it's difficult for user to know which records failed in the batch job. Could you please let me know, thanks!
Hello Sir,background job when executed manually the custom program comes clearly as per logic behind custom program but when sheduled automatically it dont runs as per logic of custom program.....what is the reason behind this ?
1)Check whether Its updaing the log at db level through SM50-->Double Click on the WP which is used for job--> Will show the information like Direct Read,Seq read,insert ,update,delete and etc 2)Check whether It ahs any DB deadlock via DB01 3)Check job log is updating or not in SM37-->Job log 4)If not updating, ask DB team to check what does PID do 5)Ask them to update STATS 6)If above steps are fine, ask respective team to check is there updating the record count from their end. I hope the above steps would be helpful for checking jobs issue.

If background jobs are running very long time then what are the step we need to take.please explain
