Mallrats is at the top of my favorite smith movies. 2nd would be Clerks 2, 3rd would be Strikes Back, 4th would be Dogma, 5th is Clerks, 6th is Zack and Miri, and 7th is Chasing Amy

I like the one when hes talking about Bruce Willis, and how he called and said he wants to make a movie with him, and he just drops the microphone.
But... Asteroids did not have a trackball... that was Missile Command (another great game). Asteroids had left/right turn buttons, thrust, fire and hyperspace, not a ball.

Smith specifically wanted Jason Mewes as Jay in Clerks just to see if anyone else found his shenanigans as funny as Smith did. Mewes mellowed out a bit later (obviously he still has a risque sense of humor but nothing compared to Jay) and is actually a bit shy.

clerks 3 would be horrible. kevin used to not smoke weed and now he does, so much so he has to have a driver and sort of lost interest in writing decent movies. there was a rolling stone interview about him a couple of months to a year ago.
I like the movies and enjoy the stories, but don't see how Jay is a comedic genius. I would say Kevin is way funnier and more coherent than Jay. But that is just me, don't need a round of answers telling me I'm wrong.
I definitely think Kev is the better writer and more charming individual. But I think he might be talking about more of what Jay does on screen. Also I think this is when Jay was really deep into drugs, which explains the lack of coherence.
