Why not? Family guy still exists and it stopped being funny in 2005. This show is atleast still funny and hasn't left it's roots much.

They did not only finally end Happy Time Harry's pain of existence, they just conquered the biggest athf running gag of all time
Technically they conquered two.
The exploding floor gag. Hilarious.
And the continuity gag. Not only does Aqua Teen never die, but time has been moving forward, something Aqua Teen occasionally pokes fun at. It's absurd, given many characters who die or leave inexplicably return or turn back to normal eventually, the main characters included.
Not sure which comment exactly, but someone presented the possibility that these are all isolated incidents in no specific chronological order. That theory is mostly debunked.
I’m sure he’ll be back. It’s like courage the cowardly dog logic where any characters who basically would’ve died or would’ve been permanently changed are back to normal by the next episode.
I mean Happy Time and the exploding floor gag were tackled before season 5.
They had that episode where they explained that they cloned their TVs and it made them unstable or whatever and that's why they blew up when you threw them.
Happy Time came back in that episode with all the villains trying to form a legion of doom type thing on the moon.
Actually Happy Time came back as well for the final episode where Shake starts a religion.
@@Aflay1 with most of the cast having died multiple times, I'd say it's completely debunked. The 'final' episode tells us what's going on, they're just actors on a tv show.

This was so funny, and it's great they brought back the explosion gag.
All it took for David Cross to be funny and relevant again was his resurrection of a minor side character on a canceled show.

@@mikespeed20082 I tried rewatching the repeatedly bad decisions of todd margaret or whatever that was called.. i couldn't laugh at all anymore. The first time through I remember chuckling at a lot, but it was beyond uncomfortable now.
He's definitely an acquired taste...
That's my preferred method of enjoying David Cross- as a minor but memorable side character. He's been in so many things, in just the right dose.

@@kapitan7357 I don’t think the show was ever completed. They aired 4 episodes once at the latest slot at night and it was never heard from again. What was finished wasn’t very good though from what I remember. Not sure why they changed the characters to sports items.
Man it's the little things that make this amazing. The whole ending was just great. The self shot of 'We should have done that in 2002' really shows you guys retain the same standard of classic Aqua. Please never stop making content.
My favorite scene from this show is when shake and frylock are talking outside and you just see meat wad walk up to the window inside the house and he just jumps through the window and says " watchyall doin?"

Patton Oswalt and David Cross were still relatively obscure comedians when they first appeared on Aqua Teen. It's really great to hear them return after all these years, when they've become household names.

It was actually explained in another episode "the cloning"? I think..., it's because clones of clones etc aren't stable and frylock just keeps on cloning because shake destroys everthing lol

I was 17 years old when the first episode came out. This show was a cure for boring down times. It's crazy to see this come back and continue the "Dumber Dolls" episode. It's so awesome to here the old voice actors again. Thanks you to all that brought this back!

The Episode "The Last One" might as well be non canon. It has MANY plot holes in it. By this point based on this video, Happy Time Harry should've been in pieces... But in this episode, he's in one piece unharmed. Ol Drippy was quite small after Shake ate him for 3 days before getting run over by a truck to save Shake's life. He SHOULD be in the grill of the Truck. But in this episode, he's in one piece. You could say The Trees were burned down thanks to Frylock.
A lot of inconsistencies, with Happy Time Harry's story being the biggest one.

The reason why things explode is due to the Cloner replacing decimated/destroyed objects that have a molecular system that breaks down over time after consistent recloning of the previous dilapidated item. This is mentioned in S2:E23 “The Cloning” and is the reason I believe everyone comes back to life too
