He was not always gentle, he ate one of his cubs in his second pride ,while the mothers watched and were traumatized. The full episodes have been deleted, it’s a nice story. I’m looking for episode 2 season 6
What? He killed and ate one of his own Cubs or the Cub was already dead or injured and he ate it? I don't think I've ever heard of a pride leader killing one of his own Cubs on purpose.
rsb512 the cub was injured, but he expected to find food and there was non and he ate his cub. He ate the cub to send a warning to the mothers.
The mothers had 8 cubs , after the incident , they later ran away .

@@pikppa This is true. Notch was a lion that used his intelligence and did not act on instinct. This is why all of his sons were raised by him until maturity and we're so very healthy.

The life of a male lion is a very stressful and violent one especially for a single male with a pride to protect its the look on their poor faces that gets me their eyes pull you right into their world that's why I will always have the upmost respect for the male lion.

tacsmoker idk why people keep referring to lions as king of the jungles. They don’t even live in jungles....they live in grasslands and Savannah’s. That title is more appropriate for tigers since they actually live in jungles.

Actually his brother is fine. Turns out they use his brother as sekekama as well in the second season. They tried to make it seem like it was only one male lion in the pride but they weren't fooling me. One scene sekekama had light mane, then another scene his mane is dark black? Nah you ain't fooling me lol plus they were careless enough to show both lions in one scene thinking people wouldn't realize it but I caught on quick and paused it and saw both smh typical National Geographic is all bogus, there's so much more that I can pin point about this show that's fake but it's not like anyone would believe me anyways 🤷♂️

Its a series called savage kingdom...the father gets fed up and starts to attack them especially the more dominate son “prince”...they eventually leave the pride but come back more submissive when they struggle to survive on their own
