Peru was able to pull off a stunner on Uruguay beating them by 5-4 and advancing to the semi finals of the Copa America 2019. Uruguay, on the other hand, looked mediocre throughout although their two goals, one in each half were disqualified due to off-side. Peru looked even worse on the field than Uruguay but somehow rose to the occasion at the penalty shootout. It was luck I guess because even Peru's coach looked disgusted by his team's performance in the first half.
Luis Suarez looked stiff and even missed a penalty while Cavani missed a simple goal opportunity in the first half. If you miss chances like that, you lose matches. Ronaldo would never have missed such sitters.
