Wolf is very versatile if you know how to use it, and there are many tricks that could get your opponents off guard and take free damage. For example: when you said it is boring and only has 1 gimmick which is double m2’s, while that is true the m2 is actually it’s strongest gimmick. Compared to other styles wolf’s first m2 has less endlag and can be spammed a lot if you don’t use the second m2 which is the white fang. Because the first m2 has less endlag you can connect an m2 with m1’s. If you land an m2 can immedietly connect an m1 afterwards. And it is not a feint, you literally use an m2 then use m1, basically free damage. Another trick would be one that most people does but don’t realize it. Where after you do an m1 combo and use m2, suddenly the m2 is a white fang. Your m2 becomes a white fabg after you do an m1 combo because you used an m2 before it. And this trick can be utilized to take your opponent off guard. Usually when you do an m1 combo it leaves your opponent with very little block, but with wolf in an m1 combo when your opponent has little block, you can use an m2 which is a white fang that is almost instantaneous and can block break your opponent immedietly. And this can be used for many situations, like to extend a combo, to regain hp from hard damage, or most commonly connect an ultimate. There are many more tricks you can do with wolf, but some of the easy ones are listed up there. I really reccomend using wolf not by spamming m2’s, but really optimize it’s m2 usage.

U just have to learn how to effectively use the white fang to make wolf fun. First, use your low end lag after the first m2 to punish whiff punishing by forward dashing right after whiffing an m2 then m2 right away and most of the time, it will be an instant white fang, and free dmg. Second, when u do an m1 string after landing a normal m2 then the next m2 you do will be a white fang as long as you do it after an m1. You can use that to block break when they have low block, just don’t abuse it cuz it gets predictable.

You can chain both of Wolf's M2s when you perfect dodge or counter, I think that's why someone told you to use it as a counter style Wolf is just basic/smash but more annoying, lol

In comparison to other styles (ie: smash, iron fist, ippo) wolf doesnt do enough block dmg with m1s (not on the block itself, the heath that is lost behind the block and just dmg in general) it leads to people mashing m2s whatever way they can, they just need to buff m1 dmg and nerf it's dashes a tiny bit tbh.
