Mehdavia Movement and bloody Sindh 1520 AD Mehdvia Movement was established and organized by Meeran Muhammad Jaunpuri Whose grandfather Usman was migrated with family from Samarkand Afghanistan and settled in Jaunpur, now Uttar Pradesh India. Meeran Muhammad was born in Jaunpur. Thus he became famous as Jaunpuri. When he was 53 years old he went to Mecca for performing Hajj where he proclaimed himself as Imam Mahdi and whoever believes will be called Momin. Most of the Ulma of Mecca refused him. He returned back to India from Arabustan or Arabia . Herein Ahmedabad India, he proclaimed to be Imam Mehdi as well. A group of people gathered around him and accepted him as Imam Mehdi which became popular as mehdavia Movement. The Ulma of Ahmedabad also stood against him, because his proclaim was wrong and it was against the Islamic teachings as well as Islam. However, he continued preaching as Mehdi and leaded a group of Mahdavia Movement. He established Dairas for teachings and preaching Mahdavia Movement. Due to his such activities he was neglected and being a neglected, he entered in Sindh in 906 AH, 1500 AD during the realm of Jam Nizamudin alias Jam Nando. In Sindh, he started to revert people of Sindh, calling himself promised Mahdi Mauood. Qazi Qazan, Haider Hirati alias Haider Sannai, Shah Sadar Waee or Lakki Shah Sadar whose descendants are Lakyari were entered in his fold and became active members of Mahdavia Movement. When Jam Nizamudin knew that Jaunpuri was reverting people of Sindh and distorting the teachings of Islam. Jam called Ulmas including Makhdom Bilawal martyred for debating with Jaunpuri. Later, Ulmas of Sindh announced judgment to kill him being against the Islamic teachings and Islam. Some saintly people requested Jam Nizamudin to forgive him and he did so. While getting pardon, Jaunpuri left Sindh together with his family and some Mahdavia followers. While leaving Sindh, Jhando Patñi whose descendants are Sannai Syeds, was with Jaunpuri in a boat and that boat was enteraped by a Mallah. On a way to Afghanistan, Jaunpuri based Mahdavia group in Balochistan at Murad Mountain (Koh e Murad) which are now famous as Zigri or Zikri. Afterward, he proceeded to Afghanistan and reached at Farah where he died and buried. In Afghanistan Zul- Noon Baig and his son Shah Baig Arghun became disciplines of Jaunpuri. The Arghun haven't forgotten their enmity with Samma including Sindh. In 880 AH (1486 AD) martyred Jam Mubarak Khan had defeated Arghuns and brother of Shah Baig Abu Muhammad Saeed was killed in that battle. Arghuns together with Jaunpuri wanted to take revenge but during the life of Jam Nizamudin alias Jam Nando, they could not dare to do so. It is why because, Sindh was not of any Hirati, Qandhari but whole Sindh was of Samma, Soomra, Machhi, Mallah and other indigenous tribes under the rule of Jam Nizamudin. After the natural death of the great Jam Nizamudin, Arghuns attacked Sindh with the help and conspiracy of followers of Mahdavia Movement in Sindh, like Qazi Qadan, Sadaruddin Waee Muhajir and Haider Hirati. They created an environment for invasion and completely supported them. During the attack of Arghuns, Indus River flew with blood. They martyred uncountable Sindhis. They burnt Madarsas and libraries. They looted every Sindhi during attack. It was month of Muharam ul Haram and during the attack Sindh became little Karbala. No one Sindhi was safe, even the children, pregnant women and old men were under the cruelity of Arghuns. From Sukkur to Thatta Sindh was Abattoir. Makhdom Bilawal and other companions of Jam Nizamudin ware martyred. The sons of Jam Nizamudin, Jam Fateh Muhammad and Jam Salahuddin were brutally killed. Jam Feroze already left Sindh to Kutch. This cruelity was appeared by Arghuns with the support of the members or groups of Mahdavia Movement of Sindh. At the burial places of Khanwah, Thatta, Badin and Jhalar and other burials, the burred bodies of Sindhis martyred mocked us from 500 years that you are our own but you have become the guards of Mahdavia group, Hirati, Qandhari and their descendants! History reveals that generations of Sindh were slayed by invaders with the help of traitors, especially in 1520 AD. The lands of original races were possessed. It was Mahdavia Movement whose Hirati members and supporters exueled Sindhis from their own mother land as well as gererations of Hiratis exueled Sindhis showing diffence of Hindu and Muslim. Mahdavia group still swallows our generations, our wealth and our lands. Later, in Mughal and Kalhora period the Mahdavia Movement was appeared in new shape or name known as Mianwal Movement. He returned back to India from Arabustan or Arabia . Herein Ahmedabad India, he proclaimed to be Imam Mehdi as well. A group of people gathered around him and accepted him as Imam Mehdi which became popular as mehdavia Movement. The Ulma of Ahmedabad also stood against him, because his proclaim was wrong and it was against the Islamic teachings as well as Islam.
However, he continued preaching as Mehdi and leaded a group of Mahdavia Movement. He established Dairas for teachings and preaching Mahdavia Movement. Due to his such activities he was neglected and being a neglected, he entered in Sindh in 906 AH, 1500 AD during the realm of Jam Nizamudin alias Jam Nando.
In Sindh, he started to revert people of Sindh, calling himself promised Mahdi Mauood. Qazi Qazan, Haider Hirati alias Haider Sannai, Shah Sadar Waee or Lakki Shah Sadar whose descendants are Lakyari were entered in his fold and became active members of Mahdavia Movement.
When Jam Nizamudin knew that Jaunpuri was reverting people of Sindh and distorting the teachings of Islam. Jam called Ulmas including Makhdom Bilawal martyred for debating with Jaunpuri. Later, Ulmas of Sindh announced judgment to kill him being against the Islamic teachings and Islam. Some saintly people requested Jam Nizamudin to forgive him and he did so.
While getting pardon, Jaunpuri left Sindh together with his family and some Mahdavia followers. While leaving Sindh, Jhando Patñi whose descendants are Sannai Syeds, was with Jaunpuri in a boat and that boat was enteraped by a Mallah.
On a way to Afghanistan, Jaunpuri based Mahdavia group in Balochistan at Murad Mountain (Koh e Murad) which are now famous as Zigri or Zikri. Afterward, he proceeded to Afghanistan and reached at Farah where he died and buried. In Afghanistan Zul- Noon Baig and his son Shah Baig Arghun became disciplines of Jaunpuri.
The Arghun haven't forgotten their enmity with Samma including Sindh. In 880 AH (1486 AD) martyred Jam Mubarak Khan had defeated Arghuns and brother of Shah Baig Abu Muhammad Saeed was killed in that battle. Arghuns together with Jaunpuri wanted to take revenge but during the life of Jam Nizamudin alias Jam Nando, they could not dare to do so. It is why because, Sindh was not of any Hirati, Qandhari but whole Sindh was of Samma, Soomra, Machhi, Mallah and other indigenous tribes under the rule of Jam Nizamudin.
After the natural death of the great Jam Nizamudin, Arghuns attacked Sindh with the help and conspiracy of followers of Mahdavia Movement in Sindh, like Qazi Qadan, Sadaruddin Waee Muhajir and Haider Hirati. They created an environment for invasion and completely supported them. During the attack of Arghuns, Indus River flew with blood. They martyred uncountable Sindhis. They burnt Madarsas and libraries. They looted every Sindhi during attack.
It was month of Muharam ul Haram and during the attack Sindh became little Karbala. No one Sindhi was safe, even the children, pregnant women and old men were under the cruelity of Arghuns. From Sukkur to Thatta Sindh was Abattoir.
Makhdom Bilawal and other companions of Jam Nizamudin ware martyred. The sons of Jam Nizamudin, Jam Fateh Muhammad and Jam Salahuddin were brutally killed. Jam Feroze already left Sindh to Kutch.
This cruelity was appeared by Arghuns with the support of the members or groups of Mahdavia Movement of Sindh.
At the burial places of Khanwah, Thatta, Badin and Jhalar and other burials, the burred bodies of Sindhis martyred mocked us from 500 years that you are our own but you have become the guards of Mahdavia group, Hirati, Qandhari and their descendants!
History reveals that generations of Sindh were slayed by invaders with the help of traitors, especially in 1520 AD. The lands of original races were possessed.
It was Mahdavia Movement whose Hirati members and supporters exueled Sindhis from their own mother land as well as gererations of Hiratis exueled Sindhis showing diffence of Hindu and Muslim. Mahdavia group still swallows our generations, our wealth and our lands.
Later, in Mughal and Kalhora period the Mahdavia Movement was appeared in new shape or name known as Mianwal Movement. There is only difference of name but both are same. Mahdavia and Mianwal both had Dairas. Their annual fairs are called Hajj like Zikris.
