Some of the most amazing and beautiful springs in the country to swim, kayak or canoe with otters and manatees. I went to the beach last weekend and swam with 3 dolphins. Amazing cultural blend of folks that results in some of the best restaurants. Humid af and hot in June-august for sure but the rest of the year is beautiful weather. Some of the best weather for growing so many plants. We get away with growing tropical produce no other state in the US can. Our main natural disaster is hurricanes, which you have a heads up about and can prepare or evacuate for. The only thing ruining the state is the overdevelopment from everyone and their mother tryna get in on it and live here now. They’re trying to pave over every sq ft of our insanely beautiful and unique nature.
