Same here....very pale skin. And same colors for me as well: Charcoal, Navy, Dark Gray work best. But after experimenting with other neutral colors in the color wheel, I found a few others that work well too. Soft Black, bright White, Light Burgundy gray, Deep Burgundy, Maroon, Ochre, Aqua Marine Blue, etc.
As a deep dark chocolate complexion gentleman, I'm blessed to wear most colors, however, I tend to wear more muted colors such as blue, gray, and brown!
I use the James “ghost” St. Patrick approach in this matter. Monochromatics are my go-to when I dress up for work, especially with dark navy, royal blue, black, dark grey, charcoal, dark brown/tan, olive green, dark purple/plum/burgundy. I’m dark-skinned and I found that those colors work very well and the ladies notice every time. I usually stay away from white - unless it’s my dress shirt and I’m going for a basic professional look. I don’t even wear a belt anymore. My dress pants have the hook closure and horizontal button, which fastens my pants to my comfort. Add that with a compliment fragrance, and the results don’t lie.

Would also dig a show or two about black mens hair and grooming, greying and thinning brothers and so on. With our hair, there are underlying politics at play too. And coloring is a slippery slope that girl men fall into when, for most, the grey his better (unless you're Lenny Kravitz and can hit new growth every few days. Salute to the Style OG

For clothes, I go for lighter-pastel colors, tans, browns, greens, blues, but a lot of darks as well, mostly in the black/charcoal/grey family. I think the lighter tans/browns/greens go best with the hair color. Great information as usual.

If your skin tone is warm, bordering on hot - what’s the word on the classic powder blue Oxford? I think of that as an essential, but it does give that pastel vibe a bit.
It's one of those white shirt alternatives so it's a blank canvas for everything else like the suit/jacket, tie and pocket square. It doesn't really count.
Greens for cool undertone! Jewel tones are also not suitable for all cool undertones. This is a very complex and misleading topic, however thank you for the video.
Or simply leave it to the professionals. When looking through clothing ads make sure the model wearing the clothes has a similar skin tone to you. If so, that clothing would probably also look well on you. They think about all that before dressing the model in the clothing in order to better sell/bring out the look of the clothes.

Bought a couple shirts from an Old Navy catalog that I saw worn by a model with my same skin, compliments every time. And that’s with some mediocre T-shirts from Old Navy. I’ve done the same with higher end suits etc. I’m not a beta male chick, I have better things to do than figure out clothing colors etc

See… I always thought dark skinned people looked better in silver, platinum or white gold. Pale people looked better in gold. It’s the contrast.
