Installed a new crankshaft into my 1GRFE I removed the timing gear from the old crankshaft and place it onto the new crankshaft, got engined time and made an attempt to start, engine will crank for a few seconds then start.. once engine is running it sounds as if it is misfiring and the ecm has two current codes p0335 and p0340 anyone has any ideas as to where to look /start.. engine stays running just sounds like it's misfiring with the check light on

I think your timing marks are not correct

@@MayoCarsDR I checked the timing gear and it's half a tooth off from the marking that is on the engine so will adjust and try again
