They really did get it right. It is is fantastic. I paid more than I wanted to bc I got it at Macy's, but, for the frags whose note breakdowns I'm a fan of, I tend to do that, bc most fragrances get reformulated and I've noticed that these first batches to come out just hit stronger. I wanted that with this one. I even got a little tube of the shower gel of the same fragrance. They go well together. This thing smells amazing off my skin. Rich with the honey, benzoin and vanilla with just the right amount of mint and lavender. It just slays. Gonna be tough to wear in the hot weather here in South Florida, but I have plenty of other fragrances for that.
Ross just call it how it is, this fragrance is an absolute beast and goes way more than 12hrs😅😊.. Tested it on my right hand at about 2:25pm and it was still there the next day at 1pm and still going.🙌🏼🙌🏼

The first thing I smelled was mint! Interesting how people smell different things. I got heavy mint, honey, lavender.....but almost no tobacco. Its a really nice smell, very sweet, very potent. Lasts all day but a little cloying in heat. Great release IMO.
Le male le parfum is still the best for me, fancy, mature and best for formal events and date. Elixir is more like ultra male in terms of it's use, party beasts
I want this to be my signature scent. Want it to be my first designer but can I wear it on a humid country? I was struggling over Sauvage EDP, Ultramale, Le Parfum, or this Elixir. I smelled Sauvage and it has this versatility in here, but too common now.
First initial wearing ! Loving this as it took the best elements of parfum and made it smoother and less sweet. This also reminds me a lot of Lolita Au Masculine (the OG not the newer version)

Presence of lavender should’ve been nearly untraceable but here it’s quite prominent which makes this fragrance smell outdated and ancient. Lavender and fougere style belong in a museum.
Ross, ever worry about the frags getting bad over the years? Thats my fear 😢. Wondering whether starting to purchase 50 ml instead of 150ml sizes makes more sense.

I own about 150+ designer fragrances and a few niche fragrances and from my small amount of experience that I've had in the fragrance world is that this shit is repetitive. They might add something that most times won't change too much of shit. I'm saying all this because this Jean Paul gaultier elixir reminds me of my Armani code absolu, or Porfumo, No bullshit! Beautiful bottle came with some extra goodies, a bag, body wash and samples but at the end is the same bullshit. I'm done bro buying shit without smelling it first. My own dawm fault! I'm more angry about how perfumers seem to be running out of ideas, nothing feels artistic anymore. I need to know if I'm going CR🤪ZY by myself. This shit is Repetitive!
