- A drive from Jeffersonville, Indiana to Louisville, Kentucky over the Lewis and Clark Bridge on the Ohio River. Go to minute 5:30 & 12:00 to just see the bridge. Journey begins at Allison Lane and Highway 62 in Jeffersonville, then onto Interstate 265 across the bridge, then a turn around on Highway 71 in Louisville, back onto I265, and across the bridge again.

This is a toll bridge.
Highway 62 in Jeffersonville is under heavy development and has had lots of changes since this was filmed.
Recorded with a dashcam in 3 minute segments that were linked together. Video recorded on December 23, 2016. Voice over recorded August 23, 2017 with an HP computer.
see bridge at minutes 5:30 and 12:00
Wow Good to see this - Last year I was employed in Indiana - I live in Louisville - I drove my car every day thru the tunnel and the Lewis and Clark Bridge - River Link had my toll data - works good
Thanks for sharing your 'Road Trip' with us - so cool . Look at that tunnel 👍❤️💜😀
Tunnels are always fun. The other ones in Louisville (I think on highway 71) are even longer then these.
My dad ran Motel 6 in Shepherdsville and Elizabethtown and we had to go to Jeffersonville quite a lot of times and the only one that we could cross was the Kennedy, which I thought was the toll bridge and the new one was being the free one. Hmm, that’s so crazy that they make it so expensive for commuters who have to travel to work and then back home.
Thanks for watching. So this is the east end bridge which is totally new to have a bridge in this area. The Lincoln bridge is the new I65 north bound one they built next to the Kennedy bridge. They tolled the 2 new ones and the Kennedy. The company that runs the tolls wanted the 2nd street and Sherman Minton over in New Albany to be tolled also. At least the government didn't go for that so there are still a couple ways to get across without paying.
@@michellesfrugallivin awesome, I miss being up there! It’s pretty boring here. After you have done much of anything that is here there is nothing else to do! Up there we had plenty of fun things to do!!!
That’s the new one, the one that we would always cross over was the Kennedy which from what I have heard is a toll bridge now.
Yes this is the east end bridge. The Lincoln Bridge which is I65 north bound is a toll bridge. I have a video of me driving it and also a video from the dedication day when they opened it to pedestrians. And we walked it.
Love the bridge - Thanks ❤️👍
This is where i live and I've been wondering if you were around here since my rite aid always seem to be stocked out of the stuff you post about! Lol!!
Which one you shopping at? I tend to stick to 2 stores. I have inspired quite a few couponers in Clark County. :)
michellesfrugallivin that's cool. I didn't even know you were in Clark County! I just wanted to transition from CVS to rite aid and I found your videos. I usually hit the one on Allison lane the most because I can go on my lunch hour. I'll stop at Sellersburg and Clarksville sometimes too. I don't do the extreme couponing but your videos are still really helpful!
+Melinda Dorman okay you have another couponer hitting your stores. The store at Allison lane is one i avoid. The manager has been so mean to me and has actually talked to other managers about me. LOL I mostly stick to Charlestown and Clarksville on Sundays.
michellesfrugallivin oh that's terrible! I haven't had a problem but I don't do major transactions. They have always been really nice. I'll keep it in mind if I decide to up my game!
michellesfrugallivin Sellersburg seems to be a nice store too. That's where I live but I don't go there as often .
Oh, so that's where that bridge is lol. Is this what they call the east end bridge?
yes it is the east end bridge. I think all of us who live in this area will always refer to it as the east end bridge.
Is this now a toll bridge?
yes. I think it is at $4.10 if you don't have the prepaid pass. The first 2 weeks it was open it didn't have a toll and that is when we went over it.
@@michellesfrugallivin , I hate that they've made it so expensive and/or inconvenient to commute between So. IN and Louisville; in all honesty, these towns are bedroom communities of that city.
It is totally ridiculous how much it costs. I certainly don't go Louisville as much as I used to.
@@michellesfrugallivin I thought the Kennedy bridge was the toll bridge and the new one was the free one.
