Alleviate some of the obvious money loss from too many monster champ skins coming out at the same time but keep having a consistent flow going so the skinline gets completed then maybe we can do an event where you fight the Kaiju off.
1:40 funny how this is the third time Nicky loves a skin for a champ he doesn’t like. Also very in depth analysis of the Garen and Darius “chromas”. Garen’s lion becomes a manticore, which in mythology are known to be inherently evil and ferocious creatures so Garen being the “Fallen” skin makes sense. So with Darius’s wolf, it became a Pterolykos (it’s a real thing I did a quick search for it) that have been a creature that symbolizes strength and freedom. Pretty on the nose for the good aspects of Noxus, and in this case “Divine” God-king Darius

As a Gwen fan/main, the skin she got is fine, though I feel like it goes even further than her doll/seamstress theme than usual. Space Groove and Soul Fighter have the benefit of looking like homemade costumes, and maid outfits are pretty closely linked to cosplay, which makes me not mind Cafe Cuties too much. I would KILL though for a skin that leans more into her being a doll though, and I feel like Fright Night would be a perfect fit for a creepy, but still fun Gwen. I'm not exactly holding my breath for it, but the fact she got her skin just a few patches before October does sting for me just a little. I'm fine with Gwen having skins that make her cute/pretty, I like Gwen the way she is, but getting even just ONE skin that plays to what she could have been would go so far, and would be a really fun way to recontextualize her mannerisms and animations.

Nik's right about Riot's focus on prior skin lines this year. Evidence indicates that we're going to get more returning skin lines in the future. The corporate universe is getting expanded on with Azir and Thresh, and leaks have said that Fright Night is returning too (I'm gonna have a conniption if Vex doesn't get her 3rd PC skin after 600+ days I stg). We can even predict an event coming in late 2024. Given that Ambessa is coming out in late 2024 and new champions always release alongside an event, plus we know that Viktor and Vi are both getting legendaries this year, PLUS we also know that Arcane Season 2 is coming out around the same time as Ambessa... There's probably going to be an Arcane event. Since there are 2 legendaries, there will probably be 2 patches like with Anima Squad, so I'm betting there's gonna be a whole slew of Arcane skins. Arcane Warwick, Arcane Heimer, Arcane Singed, maybe even Arcane versions of other Piltover/Zuan champs, like Renata, Camille, or Zeri. Who knows, but I bet Riot's gonna be more prepared to capitalize on Arcane's Success than they were last time.
Im sure someone already pointed it out, but I do really appreciate the swords used in Gwen's skin. It replaces her needles for both w and r, and thats a really good use of the skin!

It is kinda crazy how the dark/evil side always won in VS events. Despite Riven having the better skin of the two, people choose even more edgy Yasuo. During the God King event, Garen's side was winning the first half of when all of a sudden, Darius' side just came in and swooped up the victory. And with the Cosmic event, even though we KNOW the Dark Star is evil and we knew if people choose Dark Cosmic Lux to win, THE COSMIC UNIVERSE WAS GOING TO END, they still picked it. Like, Dark Cosmic Lux the skin wasn't going to go away and I knew a lot of people wanted an evil skin for Lux for the longest time. But for the fact that the Good/Light side of VS events never wins, it kinda does say something about people, huh? Probably why they don't do it like that anymore, seeing the last couple were Cats vs Dogs.
As much as I love the Kaiju skinline I think it'd be infinitely funnier if they never added a skin to the line because it's only 1 and a whole different category was made to accomodate it. Although If they made it into an actual skinline I would hope it'd have yet another new category so urgot can have his own special little place just because it's hilarious

As someone who doesn’t like most project skins Naafiri and Jax are 2 skins I love.
The gwen skin is great. I played her in pbe, and vfx and sfx are super nice.
