Prism Tensor 5m kite jumping , sliding , and crashing

windy day so I decided to get out some kites. wind at the beginning of the video was around 8mph gusting to 20 . then it died down to around 5 with 10-15mpg gusts. last jump in the video kind of got out of hand when I wasn't watching the kite and it looped back in the direction of the jump. If I had straighten it to fly straight up it would have not pulled me down wind and would have set me down softer. the tensor is a very nice kite and is good in pretty much any wind. just make sure you fly with kite killers. you will need them.

It's fine to fly the 5M in gale winds you just need to develop the grip strength and feel for the kite. I've jumped the 5M 40' high in 50+mph winds before. Here's the evidence in gale wind doing a barrel roll on the same exact kite: instagram.com/p/BScYfoyhJxR/?

+Rikshaw223 Rikshaw223 yeah I was getting some gusts measuring 20mph. that's a good bit. I have flown it in much heavier wind though at the beach. its a lot safer at the beach though. its a work out .

Nice video! I am also getting into kiting and have made a channel and some videos with a prism mentor 3.5sqm was thinking of getting a 5m have you tried a 3.5? How do the two compare pull wise?

I have a radsails 3m. The 5 pulls much harder. In good wind it will lift you pretty good. The 5 is probably the one I fly most. I'm also selling a radsails Evo 10m if you're interested.

@@bykerboi88 I usually go for the 5 or 8.5 . Just depends on the wind. The 10 is flown with a d power bar. I just like the way the quad handle kites fly so I go for them more often.

@@MotoFlyGuy hmm I was looking at those tensor 5m on Amazon it looks like it comes with d bar and quad line bars in their package. Would you say you have no regrets on that purchase? I think it's around 480$ on amazon

This is great vid for teaching people what NOT to do. Totally stupid and unsafe. I'm sure some moron will think it's cool though and go out and get themselves seriously hurt.
You obviously have no control over that 5m and it will hurt you one day. Have fun!
