Bicyclist speaks out after colliding with thin wire strung across Oak Leaf Trail

Riding down the Oak Leaf Trail along the Milwaukee Lakefront is often the highlight of Ronald Ekker’s day.
Last Wednesday afternoon was no different.
“I was traveling down the hill probably around 25 miles per hour,” said Ekker. “There was absolutely nobody on this sidewalk from as far as you can see.”

That’s horrible that there’s some sicko out there that wants to get off on trying to decapitate somebody!! what’s the matter with some people????!! I’m glad that gentleman is going to be OK but that’s just horrible!! my thoughts and prayers are with him and that he can get through this and heal. Poor guy!!
