Tomo-choco and giri-choco ("friend" and "obligation") chocolates are given to friends and associates on Valentine's Day thanks to Japan's strong gift-giving culture. Honmei-choco ("true feelings") is an act of confession with a request for a response. Kanna asked Riko if it was tomo-choco. Riko said it's honmei-choco. By asking if she can eat it right now, especially since she's not eating any of the tomo-choco at the moment, is a declaration of reciprocation. Kanna isn't as expressive as her, but there's no doubt that Riko Saikawa is the foremost person in her life.
